This looks good - I really like both as labels. A little more "Adventure" detail and pulling the gold/yellow into #1 would be interesting. While #2 has great balance and lines, it lacks the feeling of class, distinction and adventure.
I still like the idea of both #17 and #9 very much. You have captured the "bottle label" idea. Try change the background brown - a bit too muddy. If you could make it "pop" with some contrast it would be great - think of the Capt Morgan logo.
I really like the change of scenery - the harbor and ships are great. Still would like to see a "pop" factor: Do you think we could get the "Cottage 20" done in foil gold? Or perhaps a glossy black?
I just had a though - what about charcoal (or pencil) sketching as the "medium" for that port image? That may give a "wood etching" feel without the "heaviness"...?
hi dear CH, i have problem to download the reference file Own by you "Cottage 20 - November 2011 (6).JPG" .. maybe the file is corrupt. may I know what is that the picture?
Hi dear CH, I just upload one with the new drawing #41 this one i made fully from my imagination, so it is copyright free... the previous one was brought onto the court, and I should withdraw them. Thank you so much.
Great changes - thank you (and nice drawing). Could you explore some "organic" feelings to the frame/border/ribbon now? Perhaps the ribbon to start with? It is very "solid" and unnatural - how about more flowing & ragged edges? Perhaps the frame/border could be "rusted/moth-eaten/stained/burned"?
