Here are some of my concepts. I've gone for something that's fairly clean and simple, yet striking. Creating an icon that works well within the logo or as a stand alone element, one that can be used for things like favicons or watermarks.
The logos are 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed,
It would be my pleasure to work up any variations so please do say. I look forward to your comments or thoughts.
For each one I've tried different colours but also different fonts. if there is anything specific you'd like to see, don't hesitate to ask, and I'll happily work it up.
Could you please accent "Cornerstone Church Athens" more like #7?
Could you also please offer some different options on the pictorial mark?
A few thoughts --
1. Combine the letter "C" with the cross. 2. Convey the meaning of the word "cornerstone" through a pictorial mark. - a stone uniting two masonry walls at an intersection. - a stone representing the nominal starting place in the construction of a monumental building - something that is essential, indispensable, or basic - the chief foundation on which something is constructed or developed
Not a problem, here are a few variations for that concept; #48, #49 and #50 For that one I've also tweaked the icon so that the outer shapes represent 2 letter C's.
Then for #51 and #52 I made a statue of the cross made from stones, highlighting the starting stone. And higher up in the horizontal bar there are 2 subtle letter C's facing each.
For #53 I created a corner wall with a cross being the element holding it together. And on either side again 2 letter Cs facing each other, representing the name.
And lastly with #54 and #55, 2 letter Cs facing each other representing not only the name but a cross in the negative space.
Hey..like the design for #54...can we see it with the corners tone church part not bolder and instead a slimmer and potentially lower case font more like #18... Then could you Fill in the left hand negative space (the black/dark grey portion) with a stone like filling like in #51?? Thanks so much...loving your work!
Could you give us some new variations of #53? We like the idea. Can you maybe add the "c" some were in it? Also maybe try to do the pictorial mark more simple? We would like to use the logo in lots of different promotional items and we think that a simple logo would be easier.
We certainly don't want to imitate any of these marks and understand each represents the name/theme of the churches. Given the name "Cornerstone," that might be harder to do, but we are open to your suggestions.
With reference to #53 ... There are already two C's in there. They are in the darker grey under the horizontal arm of the blue cross. But let me see if I can make this clearer :)
Hello Andus, To help you as a designer to come up with the perfect logo for us we had to take a deep look at ur identity as a church. As a result of that our team has been reviewing our vission as a church and we came up with words like: redeption, retauration, repourpose, recycle, relevant, etc.
Also the tagline that we have in mind is "Where broken lives find their repourpose"
With all of these in mind, could you please summit more concepts for our logo?
Sorry, those words should be redemption, restoration, re-purpose, recycle, relevant, etc. Please try to craft logos that incorporate these themes. We apologize for the late notice but felt we needed to better convey our vision as a church.
Please consider the symbols used to represent the words recycle, repurpose, reuse, etc.
With this in mind, we would like to see a logo that clearly expresses our mission to help people find ways for their life to be recycled, reused and repurposed.
Although we originally requested a pictorial mark and letter mark we will also be interested in seeing word marks and or combinations of all the above.
In other words maybe the design for the letter "c" could be the foundation for both words of "cornerstone and church"
As an example of what we would like to see for the "c" please review the designs in the link below but consider adding the theme of recycle, reuse, and repurpose.
Glad you like it and of course would be my pleasure to show some new font options. I won't copy the other entry font but come up with my own similar options :)
#271 - As per original, no shadow #272 - As per above, thicker "Athens" #273 - As per above, even thicker "Athens", but also slightly thinner Cornerstone Church, so that the Athens is more highlighted
Thank you for your designs, and it has been a pleasure working with you. Can you tell me the format(s) in which you will upload the files? Also, can you provide different color combinations of the winning design, or will we be able to make color alterations ourselves?
