Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
I'm really impressed with the quality of the submissions. There are some great ideas here.
I understand the importance of feedback to assist you with formulating your designs. The logo is really important in defining our business so I'm prepared to spend the time to get this right, even though there are many other demands on my time at the moment.
I'd also appreciate some feedback for you too. I'm not asking you to critique each others submissions, but some comments on what you think will, or will not, work well would be appreciated. You're the experts after all. I can see logos I like, but I don't have the skill and experience to judge whether it will work well when reproduced in print. If it looks good in colour, will it still work in black/white or greyscale etc. I hope this request is acceptable.
For the designs you are leaning toward, feel free to ask the designers to submit b/w, greyscale, and other variations. We're more than happy to oblige. :-)
Thank you for the entries so far. I am very impressed with the overall quality.
A few suggestions for any new entrants: - Keep it simple - Use sans serif fonts - Stick to the colours in the brief (if you see a logo with other colours that's been highly ranked, it means I like the design but will have asked for the colours to be changed) - Any symbol should be incorporated with the text or to the left of the text, not above the text.
I would like to thank all the designers that contributed their ideas. I was very impressed with the logos submitted. At the end of the process I feel I have a great logo.
To any potential contest holders I'd say that this is a great way to a fantastic logo. You'll get the most out of it if you can find the time to provide regular feedback to the designers.
