#12 - I love the subtly of this logo—all of "contrary" is black, except for one arm of the "Y". It's contrary. That's great. I like this font, I like the shade of red, and I like the sizing of "Contrary" and "Content." Only thing I would say is this design is so very simple, I wonder if it isn't too simple...
#26 - This is another great design. Note "Contrary" is misspelled—could you fix that, so I can se the logo spelled properly? I like the two little arrow heads on the "O"—this is a bit of extra design detail and I appreciate that.
#6 - I like the look of this design, but I wouldn't pick it, because I don't really know what the red-and-black "N" pieces are supposed to mean (unlike the red arm of the "Y" in design #12). Also, this logo reads a bit "computer/digital" to me—more like a high-tech company, less like a creative film production company.
#14 - I like the bold elements of this design. I don't think he "C's" in the red and black boxes look especially great—font doesn't quite work for me. But this design definitely jumps out at you. I'd like to se additional designs with a bold look like this.
#11 - A piece of the "A" being missing and then "reappearing" over the "Y" is an interesting idea, but I don't feel it's quite fleshed out in this design. The red triangle over the "Y" looks like it was placed there "just because".
#27 & #15 - I like the visual look of these two designs, but wouldn't pick them because I don't quite see how they reflect the themes we're going for.
#21 - Too reminiscent of the copyright symbol.
Thanks for the submissions! Looking forward to seeing more!
#43 - I think the red box around the texts helps give this logo a little something extra—nice work! I don't, however, like the missing pieces of the R's. Could I see a version of this logo with the box, but with the text unmodified? And any other ideas you have in this vein?
#45 - This is a nice looking logo, though it doesn't quite get across the "contrary" theme I'm looking for. But I would be interested in more logos in this vein.
#47 - I think this is worth exploring. This particular version doesn't quite do it for me, but I'd love to see others in this category...
Hey, on #165, I notice the red box border on the top is closer to the letters than the border on the bottom. What would it look like if the borders were equidistant from the letters? Could I see that?
In #346, it appears as though you moved the bottom part of the box up, to close the white space gap. This makes things a bit too cramped for me. Can I see you go the alternate direction—moving the box border on top up a flex pixels, so that the white space height on the top matches the white space height on the bottom (using #165 as your starting point)?
