These are good but can you look beyond the "icon left / typeface" approach and come up with more diversity. Have a look at the current logo on www.contagionmarketing.com and see if this stimulates any creative thoughts. Thanks!

These are really good designs so far. The one common element is the straight black font. I would like to see how you envision a custom type design with and without an integrated icon or colorful accent. I am not adverse to exploring the blues and greens as part of this too in order to push the creative even further.

The direction these are going is a bit too modern and sci fi for a company that speaks to executives at big brands. We are looking for something a bit more professional that is elegant and tasteful. That means we should play down the playfulness a bit as well. Sorry if this was not completely clear in the brief. I do like the idea of having a unique treatment to the font where some of the letters are stylized (subtle) with a unique flair to them (see #'s 180 and 185 - they are not ranked high because they are bit too modern in feel). As far as the image/icon it feels like a lot of these examples don't connect the style of the font and the style of the image. Good examples that do this right are #'s 135 and 180.
