circular logo is easy to use with various social platforms using profile picture/avatars, especially with this type of business/venue where you need constantly promote and advertise events. Easy to use with apparel and printing since it doesn't have any gradients. Colors could be inverted. Great for apparel (think caps, t-shirt, etc). Could be used as a patch on clothes, etc. And again, it's unique :) My humble opinion :)

Auditorium can't be the focus. If anything, the focus has to be on Comstock or Comstock Community.

It's perhaps "too clever," but I like it.

This icon grows on me. Pity, you've eliminated #155 where Auditorium is more prominent. I believe we should concentrate on the venue. Anyways, the icon turns out great. The icon with a hidden but readable C and A (audiotoriym), and stylized as theatrical curtains on stage. Kind of neat "story" behind the graphics. Thanks.

oh..just added the contrast. Not mandatory. Consider #155 or #154 instead. I like the idea emphasizing AUDIOTORIUM

I liked it. Another person just couldn't unsee a stack of books... and we weren't thrilled with the C on the stage... but something needed to be on the stage... otherwise it wouldn't be a stage...

a good logo needs to be good in both orientations: portrait and landscape. Both variations are needed for various corporate identity needs/materials.

When the mark is on top, it looks that much more like a crown.

We're liking the version with the logo mark off to the side rather than on top. In laying the type, we'd like to see some variations that make "community auditorium" a bit more pronounced. Play around.

I agree. I'd like to see the C without a fill... so that it doesn't blend into the stage quite as much.

I like this... I do think that the Community Auditorium text could be bigger... at least to the width of COMSTOCK.

I wonder if you can try to highlight the C on the stage? I like the shadow under it... "in the spotlight..."

The idea behind the logo to depict a stage in a unique and subtle way. Steps to the stage stands for determination, commitment, success. The letter C on top stands for the performing character as a letter C (character | Comstock. etc). Clean, simple, memorable. A bit funky.
