Hello. Again, I advise you to reconsider #178. Its clean, simple without unnecessary lines which clutter the image. Looks not overused for your industry because of the 'inner gear'.
#178 will serve your company very well. Could be used/without CHS depending on various corporate identity needs. Embroidery and engraving safe. Thanks again.
To support my entry. In spite the fact it uses oil drop, the general look and feel of the logo is UNIQUE, mostly because of the non-standard gear used. Along with a commercial grade font typography looks stylish, the logo looks professional and trustful. Could be used with CHS small pad as I showed in previous versions. Thank you for the contest!
Btw, before you make a final decision on the logo, please perform a google image search for logos in your industry by using keywords 'hydraulic logo'. So you won't have problems using/registering/trademark your logo. Thanks
It depends. Again, the main thing should be a concept itself. If logo doesn't look good in black/white it's a bad and unprofessionally designed logo. To any logo designed in the right way could be applied effects and gradients depending on particular application, background etc. On dark backgrounds reach and gradient colors may look ok. Are you talking about black/dark backgrounds on the sides of trucks or white/lights?
Please keep in mind that changing colors is not a problem and could be changed easily. The main thing is a concept itself. Technically you should appreciate entries in black/white and when the concept is secured play with colors.
