CCI acquired Wireless Wisconsin, LLC and Innovation Capital Management, Inc. Utilizing newly acquired resources, CCI focused its efforts to further providing wireless broadband services to the rural marketplace. This experience and knowledge opened the door to the acquisition of Wytec International, Inc. and the ownership of five world-class patents directly connected to the delivery of mobile wireless broadband.

Wytec's patented technology is cited as Multichannel Radio Frequency Transmission (MRFT).
