Hello Keegen, thank you for these submissions. Really like the idea you have started with #85. Could we try with some other fonts, including a somewhat thicker, more solid version, moving a bit towards the direction of the ironman triathlon logo font?
Hello Keegan, it appears that you took down the logos that I liked. My team members and I will be reviewing logos again today to vote as we get close to the end and they have not yet seen your logos #83-85. Possible to put back up?
yeah really sorry I have to take away the logo because there's simialrity with other designer concept. sorry I didn't see that earlier. but I have uplaoded new ones. with font changes.
There's similarity in the logo it's "the M part becoming human", with one of other design that submitted before me. That's why i have to avoid same concept and trying new ones
Hello Keegan, I understand, but that concept existed before this tournament - see the Ironman triathlon logo as an example. So it's "out there" already. And no one else did one that really looked human - yours was the first. We didn't even notice the "human" idea on anyone else's until yours. And what you did with the legs was unique. It is your call. If you'd like, we can give the idea to someone else to develop, but it sure seemed like you came up with a unique design to us.
Hello Keegan, we are very interested in your designs #83-#85. What is unfortunate is that you are saying that someone else "owns" the dot (the head) and you "own" the infinity symbol (the legs). So we have the image of someone that is split in two. How do we put them back together? Can I ask who indicated you should take down #83-#85? If you think it is best we resolve this with the site administrators, can you suggest a way? Thank you so much for all your efforts. We hope to get #83-#85 back into the event, we would like to continue on those.
That would be okay from our side, just so it's fair. It's important that you or the right person be able to develop this concept with both the head and the feet, so we have the full body. Please let us know as soon as possible! Thank you Keegan.
Hello Keegan, thank you for your new design with colors, it looks very nice. We would be very interested to see some other fonts. In particular, we are interested in simple, clean, modern (sans serif?) fonts, and also shifting the "feminine/masculine" balance slightly, so it's more in the middle. Perhaps slightly thicker font? Slightly less curvy? The current font and design feels like it is somewhat tilted towards the feminine at the moment.
Hello Keegan, thank you for doing a version in color. Here are our comments in the hope of finalizing: * Thank you for trying the different font. I will check with the team here at CMP, but for now your original remains our favorite. * The green font color in the circle is nice but may not read well against each other (e.g. in a b/w photocopy). Can we please see versions where the "CMP" font in the circle is white against dark blue background, or where the green is lighter and the blue is darker, so they contrast a bit more? * We feel the "P" and "C" are pressed up against the edge of the circle. Please try with a slightly more margin between the edge of the circle and the "C" and "P" (simply enlarging the circle a bit?). * The word "Project" is more difficult to read on the screen than the blue words, especially when small. Please try with the word "Project" in blue (the lines to its side don't have to be blue though). * The tagline "Focused Mind, Open Heart" is too difficult to read. Perhaps slightly larger, or not italics?
We LOVE your design. Thank you! We love the darker blue and the adjustments you have made. Would you mind trying one final revision with the green. We are wondering if a slightly richer green (less yellowish) such as: Pantone PANTONE Dusty Jade Green 15-5711 TPX or PANTONE Biscay Green 15-5718 TCX or PANTONE Absinthe Green 14-6329 TPX
Of course, the green needs to be light enough to contrast against the blue. You are the expert so we defer to you on which green might pop the most. Thank you so much!
Hello Keegan, we just wanted to let you know that we would like to select your design as a winner. Thank you for your creativity and efforts. We wanted to confirm that, in addition to the standard formats in the contest, that you are also able to provide the following formats:
1 X color PNG 1 X black and white JPG 1 X high resolution color JPG
Also, we would like the information on the pantones that you used (by number) and the names of the fonts.
OK, got it. We just approved your final files and look forward to the rest. We may want connect with you re: follow-on work as well, we will get a better sense once our marketing and design committee has met.
