I like it. I like the puzzle pieces that imply connection and solutions. I want to make sure there aren't a lot of other companies with a logo similar to this. But the concept is there and I like the CES emphasis. Would adding the tag line make it too busy in your opinion?
There are other companies that use puzzle connections in their logos, but none that I know of just exactly this way. The treatment is what makes it different. I'll show you what it would look like when you want to use the tag with it, although tags usually aren't part of the logo itself. They often are put near each other.
No, not totally separate, but somewhat like I used it here, or like on a business card, at bottom or somewhere it can stand out. Depends on the situation, but tag lines can stand alone. Your tag may change without the logo having to change. Does that make sense? ( :
Thank you. So your advice is to NOT include the tag line? And just add that to any marketing (business cards, etc.) we use? Otherwise I like the line then the tag line on #198.
That's one way I like to do it. It's no problem for me to provide versions with and without the tag, you could use it when you need it. Sometimes you will want to.
Neat idea but I think your original idea works for me. do you think colors in #197 would work on my website? Some of these look very similar can you tell me what the differences are between #197,189, and 217? Thank you.
The colors in all those versions are trhe same, just graduated a little differently. Let me take a look at your website. I can match almost any colors you want.
Thank you so much for the extra designs. It helped me envision what it would look like on the website. I have to say I like the original colors on the white background rather than the blue/red./grey on the blue. The font and the colors look to sharp to me on the blue background.
I think #197 and #189 are my favorites. Just not sure what the white square would look like on the website. Whatever I chose has to work on a business card, web, or other marketing.
Actually, it's the same logo, it's only the type switched out for contrast against the website blue. You also could change the website background to white for that portion. Use the white background for business cards, etc., and the #228 for website.
What I am saying is that I think the logo looks too harsh on the blue background. I would have to ask my website company how much they would charge to change the the website header to white.....
Can you please try some color changes to the puzzle pieces after looking at the icons on our website? I think a different shade of blue is needed and I'd like to see a red (not to harsh) compared to the orange. You took the logo with the dark blue background down?
No problem, I can easily adjust colors on puzzle pieces, and I'll do it on blue background again and include version with line before the tag. I will work on them tonight, or still this afternoon if I am able.
OK- nearly there. I know I told you to bold the first letters of the company name but your instinct was right on. I think its overkill given the letters in the puzzle so please take it out. I definitely like the red in #250- lets' go with that. I like the line on the bottom. The last thing is I would like a serif font. I have seen that in other designs and like the look. Thank you so much for your patience!
I'll get that done this afternoon, no problem. I'll try the most popular serif font, and I'll also unbold the caps in the font I've already done so you can compare.
OK- #253 and #254 it is. If I could get the light and the dark version, that would give me a lot of options. Let me know if there would be an extra charge for that. I like it!
