Love it! I would be curious to see what you would have created if I hadn't mentioned a bird.....
Do your instincts tell you a different design? I love hte style, so just wondering if you had a better idea?
Do you also have any other colour version for the first one?
Thanks so much!

well. I would have created ...A BIRD! It seems to be a trend.

But also makes me think that the bird builds its nest with small fibers and that is like sewing its home.

I´ll continue developing the idea and also try others.

ok. Tried some borders and fabric texture, but still think the cleaner the better. It must show EASY sewing.

Also the info the customer should read from the logo is: I´ll learn to sew quick, I will learn how to sew something fast. That´s why I replaced the bird with a hummingbird.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks!,

I totally agree about the fabric background, it looks beautiful on paper, but the rectangle border will always be a part of the design, and may not work well with all applications, such as a window sign or embroidery.

I love that you have taken the time to actually think of the business, and not just the design, thank you!

I LOVE the hummingbird, great idea. The colours you have shown are not what I was originally thinking, but they work well in an organic sense, and you have opened my eyes. Is it possible to see it all in black to get a sense of it? I know it won't be nearly as pretty, just curious
thanks again!

Hi Shelley,

I am glad you like it. I just try to recall all the comments my friends say every time I saw something new: "How do you do that?", "It´s difficult, I´ll never be able to do that"... same with knitting....

So I think if the logo is shown in a simple and beautiful way it will be appealing to people trying to learn.

I´ll upload a black version and a negative version so you see how it works.

Later!,

Just uploaded new versions: Black and Negative.

#35 and #36 are black but still have the transparency in the wings. #37 is all opaque black.

I just noticed I think there is a faint shadow under the thread going to the needle, could I see it without the shadow and in the green colour, but could you make the green a little more vibrant? On a white background still.
Thanks!
