Hey kooldog, Thanks for taking the time to take part in our contest. We love your entries. You're off to a great start.
As you may have seen, we extended the contest. So there is plenty of time to fine-tune your designs. We would be interested in seeing a variation of #62 or #64 where there is an emblem on the left hand side of the logo. Sort of a shield, so-to-speak.
Looking forward to seeing your new ideas. Thanks again.
Hey kooldog, Love the new submissions - #71 and #73.
If you have any other ideas for the shield, we'd love to see them. Perhaps incorporating "CFG"? Or keeping the football within the walls of the shield. Or any other creative ideas you have. We'd like the emblem (or shield) to be able to stand alone from the rest of the logo.
Hi Kooldog, Thanks for the new submissions. Very creative stuff. Our favorite submissions from you include the shield.
Could you try a shield with the same shape as #94 (with "CFG" at the top), but with a red-to-black radial gradient background? On top of the gradient would be a football similar to #36, but without the glasses. Just the stitching.
We also like the red-and-white swirl background you used in #73.
Two questions surrounding the "CFG" on the shield:
1) Can you try a different font for the "CFG"? We're not crazy about the current font.
2) Is there a way to make the "CFG" on the shield stand out a little bit more? It seems to be hard to read. Perhaps add a black edge around the font? Or a shadow behind the "CFG"? If you have any ideas, we'd be interested inb seeing them.
One final question: what font did you use for the "College Football Geek" wordtype? Helvetica?
Our apologies for all of the questions. We are just very excited about your designs!
Thanks for your feedback. Here is an update per your request. for your question on font type, I have used Myriad Pro. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks
Hi kooldog, Thanks for the edits. The "CFG" is now easier to see. But could you try some different fonts for the "CFG"? Perhaps FF Advert Bold or something along the lines of the font used in entry #102? Just a suggestion.
