i love # 110!!!

I would like to see the following please:

1. can you please show me how it would look with a to-go cup instead of the glass cup you currently have?

2. could you please show me how you would incorporate the name "The Olivia" into this logo? (i.e. if we were to go into a building called the olivia, then the name of that location would be "The Olivia On-the-Go") - so please show me one option with the words "The Olivia" instead of the word "Coffee" and then another option with the words "The Olivia" above or below the icon (obviously the font should match).

Thanks

Dear Deanstern,

As we knew, since the contest was enter the judging mode..only the 1st rank designer have the ability to upload new design or revision (which i'm not). I really want to do that revision but i cannot upload them.
My opinion, you can re rank those designs and ask revision to each designer one at a time during the judging mode.

Hi bikinSendiri,
Thank you very much for these logos, i really like the direction this is going in.
I have extended my contest for a couple more days and would appreciate it if you could show me some more options before hand so i can make my final decision.
Some specifics for next round:
- could you please show me more options of the to-go cups with a sleeve?
- I think the sleeve should say the name of the property (such as "The Olivia"), but this name should be changeable to the name of any other property we go into.
- In regards to the word "Coffee," could you please show me some options where you keep this word and some options where you eliminate it? I think this word could be done discretely since we already have a coffee cup icon.
- I sort of like the tilted cups more than the ones that are standing straight
- could you please show me more variations in color and font size
- could you please show me some more options for the smoke coming out of cup
- Please leave entry 110 so i can make a decision between the to-go cup and coffee mug.
Thank you very much and i look forward to receiving your new entries.

thank you very much for your reply.
i am having a tough time picking my favorite, could you please help me with this? Which one do you like best (the mug vs paper cup? the straight vs tilted? with sleeve vs without sleeve? colors? etc).
here are a few suggestions:
- could you please show me entry 172 without the word "coffee" on the mug?
- could you please show me entry 172 with one of the the paper to-go cups instead of the mug (i.e. with "The Olivia" above the cup)
- i dont really like it when the straight mug/cup and the plate below it are the same color (like in entries 138, 139, 110, and 173). I dont mind this when the mug/cup is tilted because there's that white space in between that separates the two.
- I think i prefer the smoke you have in the latest entries (171, 170, 166, 165, 164) over the older version (141, 140, 139, 138, 110). I also othink i prefer the smoke coming out of the middle of the mug/cup and not from the side (like in entry 173).
- i think i prefer the entries with the sleeves compared to the ones without. I am not sure if its better to have the wrtting on the sleeve itself or above the cup/mug (like entry 172). Also, if we decide to go with the writing on the sleeve, then should the words be straight compared to plate (like in entry 166) or should they be tilted compared to plate (like entry 167).
- my biggest challege is the word "coffee" - i am not sure if i want it in there or not. On the one hand its our company name so it should be in there, but on the other hand I sort of feel we are being repetative because the icon of the coffee mug/cup already sends out that message (plus i dont think it reads as well when we have the word coffee stuck in the middle).
- lastly, how could we adjust both the (A) name and (B) colors of the logo we use in each location to fit the landlord's/building's name and colors?? (for example, if i were to go with entry 172 for our Olivia coffee bar - then how would we adjust that same logo to fit our second location at the plaza keeping in mind the different name and different colors at the plaza??)
Thank you very much BikinSendiri

Hi medi,
one more thing i realized is that i like it when the words on the cup/sleeve are parallel to the top/lid of the cup.
I aslo sort of like the two lines you placed in the middle of the cup/sleeve in entries 172,173, 167, 163, and 110.

Thanks so much and i look forward to seeing the next round

Hello..here's the updates

#209 #210 revised as requested

#211 #212 and #213 #214 my answers
my opinions:
-mug vs paper cup: i think it depends on your business, but a "to go cup" is representing your company name, but still the choice is yours, so i still provide options with paper cup and mug
- straight or tilted: Straight for the mug, tilted for the paper cup ( i think its a bit too crazy if tilted the mug, the expression of moving was represented by the "O" wheels, but i think it still ok if we do with the paper cup)

- sleeve or no sleeve: sleeve for paper cup
- writing on or above the sleeve: on it..will make it less space
- writing straight or tilted: straight..it will more readable

- about the word coffee.. i've tried to keep the word "coffee" and re position it as in #211 #212 #213 and #214

- also in those entries, i've tried to gave the color coding so it adjustable by the landlord's name and color, in #211 #212 (paper cup) i use the sleeve to be the adjustable item, and in #213 #214 i made a line on the mug and the landlord's name to be adjustable, by this way we give a space for the landlords but still keep the logo have a graphic standard

..what do you think?..:)

Hi Deanstern..
I made a mistake for #212 , it should be wrote: the Plaza, so #215 is sample for coffee on the go at the Plaza and #211 is sample for placement at the Olivia

Hi Medi,
Thanks so much for these latest entries.
Here are some comments/thoughts:
- I think the words "On-The-Go" need to pop out, and so that's why i prefer the darker versions (like in entries 209 or 210 compared to entries 163 or 164).
- In terms of color schemes, I am leaning towards the beige ones (like in entries 209 or 172), probably because this color is the most transferable and easily goes with many other colors. That said, I also sort of like the burgundy color as well (like entries 171 and 173), I think its very elegant.
- As per choosing between the mug and paper cup, I am still deciding about this and would like to narrow it down to my favorite logo from each option and then I'll make a final decision.
- In regards to entries 213, 214, and 215 – I do not like how you positioned the word “Coffee” above the “On-The-Go,” I feel it’s too scrunched in there. I do sort of like that little design detail you added at the rim of the mugs in entries 213 and 214, I just feel the color needs to correspond with the rest of the logo.
- In regards to all the entries with the paper cup:
~~~ I defiantly prefer the ones that are tilted.
~~~ I defiantly prefer the ones with the sleeve.
~~~ Could you please show me one version with only the word “Coffee” on the sleeve? Basically like entry 166 with “Coffee” instead of “The Olivia”
- Lastly , in regards to the steam/smoke coming out of mugs/cups – I think its best when it comes out of the topmiddle of mug/cup and then stretched all the way to the right edge of the rim and then all way to the left edge of the rim (sort of like in entry 209 but that case it can be stretched even more to the right edge before it goes to left edge). I defiantly prefer the thinner steam/smoke versions to the thicker ones (like in entries 167, 141, 139, or 110)
Thanks so much and I look forward to seeing the next round of entries.
Hi again,
I don’t like how you put the word "Coffee" in entry 217, it still looks too scrunched in there.
Also, i think the way you laid out the steam in entries 216 - 220 is very good, but I don’t like how thick you made the right side of the steam (it just seems disproportionate).
As per enties 219 and 220, i think the word coffee looks too small and disproportionate compared to the rest of the logo. I do like how "On-The-Go" sticks out in these two exaples though.
Thanks,
hI there,
i think that the plates in entries 258 & 259 are too long (they look like a skateboards).
also, i sort of like the window detail you put in #255, would be nice to see some more variations of that.
lastly, do you think its a problem you use capital letters for the "ON-THE-GO" but lower case letters for "The Olivia" and "Coffee"? Can you please show me one version with all capitals and another with all lower case?
thanks so much bikinsendiri
Hi again bikinSendiri,
could you please show me the window detail you added in entry 255 with one of the paper cup entires?
If we could incorporate this "building" feature into the paper cup logo that would be great.
Thanks
hi again,
can you please show me number 256 with the word "coffee" tilteld like the cup? I think this may be the one...
also, on a more general note, if i decide to move forward with this logo, i was wondering if it would be possible to get the master logo tamplate so when we get into new buildings all i would need to do is open that master logo up and change the name Olivia to another building name?
lastly, i would also like to get a copy of the other logos i liked (i.e. the version with the coffee mug, the version with different colors, etc)
Thanks so much
