#2 Can we try curving the letters 'CMP' in an arch over a bear?

#1 Can we also invert the star, single point down? Change the red color to a yellow/gold color, and put a bear on the star?

#7 Looks great. Put the letters CMP above the bear, and the 'Protection Services' on the bottom of the same curve.

A designer emailed me stating that the CH was requesting the designer use the California State Bear in the logo. This will only be allowed if the contest holder had written permission from the State of California trademark owner, and even then the logo would not be trademarkable. I would advise against this.
