Both of these designs are cool, unique and striking. For each of the respective logos, could we experiment with putting the globe in different areas: i.e. #4 with the globe in the ball of the foot, and #3 in the heel?
Thanks for the those updates. Previously I was the only one ranking, and so as a result of the feedback we've garnered and staff input, things got a bit switched around. One of the concerns with the shoe design is that it might give the impression that the earth is getting "stepped on", which is softened by the globe being in a foot vs. a shoe.
Thank you for the fine follow ups. A couple of thoughts/requests:
Can we try #5 with a green sole, and #4 with two variations: one all blue, the other all blue except for a green triangle (the piece just above the globe)?
#19 is really cool too. I'm finding that there's just too much going on with two shoes for an effective logo, which is not your fault as it is what we requested. Do you think it's possible to incorporate that into a single design shoe somehow, with both the climate steps and globe still being incorporate? It may be that climate steps is no longer written directly on the shoe. The depth/profile is neat.
#29 green sole and finger #30 green sole #32 all blue #33 triangle green (triange philoshopy http://www.whats-your-sign.com/triangle-meaning.html) =) #31 #34 just another option :D, now i'm working on single shoe, please wait for my next entries, thanks
Excellent stuff. Really like where it's all going. Cool concept on the triangle: masculine going upwards, balances the mother earth. Thanks for sharing that. What is your favorite among the logos you've created for Climate Steps?
thanks =) my favorite among this logo is entry #4 (just flow in my mind when i make this logo^_^) and #19 (because i'm negative space logo lover) just my opinion =)
Could you integrate our tagline into the logo design as well? It'd be great to get a sense of how that would appear. Tagline: Clean Energy Movement. Feel free to use whatever font you would find most suitable.
Thanks :-): could we try it with the same color as the logo (either blue, green or combination) and also an alternative format where it is in larger type and extends across the whole logo from right to left?
We are wondering if there is a way to combine the design of #4 & #32 with that design's particular placement of the globe into the tear drop effect of #30. Can we try to combine these two both as one single entity with no breaks in the shapes/space, and one where the shape is exactly as it is in #30? This is a specific request of our Student Leadership Board, who is very excited about what you've come up with.
Oh no problem: we're on different sides of the globe :-). What I mean is if you look at #30, it has a water/tear drop in the bottom half. Is it possible to adopt that tear water/tear drop shape in #30, but have the globe in the bottom (heel), as is the case in #4?
Ah yes, exactly. It was something our Student Leadership Board was interested in seeing (we had a meeting today): They are also interested in whether it is possible to adapt the designs you just sent such that the foot is entirely connected (no breaks in shapes) and one where the heel is a separate stand alone (i.e. the globe is a bit of a separated shape). Also, for #69, do you think there is a way for the globe to be more distinct, since the blue blends together?
#72 with green foot above globe #71 with green foot above globe, #71 as is with dark blue globe found in #70 #69 with blue tear drop attached and rest of foot green
Some more requests :-): #68 w/green water drop attached to foot as is (all green except globe), #68 w/green water drop attached to foot as is (all green except globe) and toes blue, #68 with green drop attached with the rest of the foot being blue (one with toes green and one with toes blue.
#74 #75 with green foot above globe #77 as is with dark blue globe with blue tear drop attached and rest of foot green did you mean like this #76 ??? =)
excuse me i'm a little confused about 1. #69 with blue tear drop attached and rest of foot green 2. #68 w/green water drop attached to foot as is (all green except globe), 3. #68 w/green water drop attached to foot as is (all green except globe) and toes blue, 4. #68 with green drop attached with the rest of the foot being blue (one with toes green and one with toes blue. 5. #69 with tear drop attached and green triangle above globe. Thank you!
is it like this #76 (#69 with blue tear drop attached and rest of foot green)?
Great portfolio. You've won the contest--now the hard part is figuring out which one! I will be in touch more soon--if you have any other insights into new designs please share them!
One more question, it pertains to #93. I really like this conceptually--the drawback for me is that the globe/earth gets a little lost in the teardrop. Do you think there's a way to make the globe more distinct--perhaps by having a thin circular outline around it, and still retain the distinctiveness of both the globe and water drop?
