Discussion

I like what you did with the blues. Let's try the 2 higher (even though normally with the oxygen symbol its low). I'm not sure about the "floating o's" and cleanse, hydrate and energize would go below linear. Feel free to play with the concept. Thanks!

Royan, I still like this the best in regards to the lettering and colors. I don't like the little ooo's that come of the O and cleanse, hydrate, energize looks out of place. Can you remove all of that and just show it to me with the "Clear2o". Google blue2o seafood and look at their design. That was the inspiration. Look at it on the side of the building, etc. Thanks

On entry 35, can you go back to the color scheme of #3, drop the 2 down and maybe even make it smaller a little. It doesn't have to be completely hanging off like #3, but it needs to be lower like the H2O symbol. See if you can get Cleanse. Hydrate. Energize. to fit closer to the overall size of the logo, but still decent space in between. Looks good!

Also, I don't know if you noticed but I increased the winning bid to $325. Thanks

Royan, First of all - thank you for all of your submissions. I've pretty much knocked most out and would like to give you what I am looking so I can ultimately award you. I've attached a link to 3 pictures but let me explain what they are.

1. The first is a pic of a design that I really liked. I liked the way the water line ran through the letters and the colors. I also like the exact placement of the bubbles and the crispness of the bubbles themselves. I like the font. I like almost everything other than the fact that I asked that the 2 be lowered down and some other tweaks which you will see in the next pic.

2. The next pic is something that I designed (so don't judge it). I am not a designer, but I was simply trying to show what can be down as a possible solution to taking the 2 and lowering it so that it resembles the H2O symbol. My idea was a thin line or something like that to keep the continuity of the design. If not, the words cleanse, hydrate and energize drop and it looks awkward. I didn't put the bubbles into my pic because this is just an example so don't go by this font, color or anything like that, but its a general idea of what I see in my head.

3. This is the (2) options for the H2O symbol. It needs to be either cap R and cap O with the hanging 2 or lower case r and lower case o with the hanging 2, but it can't be lower case r, hanging 2 and the cap O. So I'd like to see it both ways.

Here is the link - https://www.dropbox.com/sh/e6xbtrrdf98amo4/oUm-jjGjqy

We are getting close, but it has to be perfect. I am extending the contest, but ultimately I'd like to get this done and award you. Hopefully you can "see" what I "see" now with the pics. When I look at your # 77 its the closest to that logo that I've seen and that person dropped out and I can't track them down. I really like the bubbles from the pic that I sent, where they are, and the crisp look of them. Also, I really like their font and the colors so hopefully you can match it up perfectly.

Sorry for so much info, but I am trying to be as clear as possible. Thanks. Also, my Skype address is glen.crawford12 if you want to Skype on it and wrap this up. My email is glen_crawford@me.com.

Thanks, Glen

One addition to the last long message. After stepping back and looking at the # 2 pic I gave you in the link I think the O does have to be larger for the bubbles to come out so disregard what I was saying. Meaning we can roll with the lower case r then the hanging 2 and a larger O with the bubbles coming out like pic #1. Hope this all makes sense...

Entry # 131:

Thank you. Please consider these changes;

1. I need a little more separation between the underline and each side of the 2. It's a little too close right now.
2. I like the colors of the words on top, good mix. I would like to see it a little clearer that there is a water line or wave running through the letters. Not huge jump from where you are, just slight adjustment.
3. I need the words to read better at the bottom, they are somewhat condensed. I am not sure if its the font or maybe there is a way to get some separation between the letters so the words are easier to read?
4. I like the lines separating the words at bottom, but I have also seen it with a dot separating and it looked really clean. Can I see both ways?
5. Also, we are not sure if we want lower case or upper case to start the words at the bottom. I would like to see it with lower case and dots like I mentioned in comment 4.

6. The bubbles: this is where I see the biggest opportunity to make this logo special. First, I would like the bubbles to have some reflection in them. I think they can be cleaner and sharper. Plus I think they should all be sized a tiny bit different.
7. The bubbles continued: I like them coming off the back of the O, but I would also like to see them coming out of the inside part of the O so there would be one bubble in the O and 3 sort of above the 2 floating up similar to the photo I sent you. I do like what you did too so we will be looking at it both ways.

Thanks again!

Looking great. 140/138

Can you look at the one that I have ranked # 5 right now? Its close in color, but different and my client prefers that look. Its like a reflective aqua/blue with a clear water line running through. We might have to touch the bubbles a little to match the color.

The words underneath look great. I think we like the dots, with the lower case. At this point I am mainly focused on your design so don't feel frustrated that we are asking for so much. I am not in communication with anyone else, they are just submitting. I am pushing my client towards yours.

I think if we can also add just a little bit of size to the first bubble on the outside of the O on each logo that might be good too. So close...

Also we've agreed we like the bubbles on the inside of the O above the 2. We are also thinking another bubble in the O, so total of 4 bubbles. Thank you

144: bubbles look good. I like that. My question is about the color. I am on my phone so its hard to see perfectly, but I can't see a difference in color. I am wondering if maybe my earlier message was missed;

Our focus is on 144. Thank you

about the color, its different for each monitor/computer.
In rank 5 use RGB mode and I use CMYK mode cause its closest with color if we reproduce in material (printing etc).

Ok. I will have my partner look. I think he loves it, but I know that he really liked the way the other one I pointed to you had a clear and reflective color. It looked like water was flowing through the letters. We are torn on the blue and the aqua, but looks good. Thanks!

Thanks for this 148. Can you do that same thing for 144 so we can see it in blue vs green? Also, if there is any way to get that water line clearer? I was looking at another submission that is in my top 5 still (because my client likes it) that is very clear that there is a water line going through it. There is a "reflective" character to it. I think maybe there is a little white used where the colors blend, but there is more to it. It seems to reflect. I don't know how they did that, but I know he really likes that. Thanks again!

One other small item I didn't catch, but someone just pointed out. The r at the end of the word clear needs just a little more ridge off the top part (hope this makes sense). It's not that I need the r to be bigger its just the "arm" looks really small?? Like I said hope this makes sense?

after discuss with another designer in this contest..
color differences occur due to differences in hardware & software..

Based from your recent request I submit 2 logos with different color model
In #150 & #151, I use same color in different mode #150 (RGB) #151 (CMYK)

If the logo reproduce by printer / offset machine, color closest to #151...
RGB mode only reproduce by monitor and use for web/software image...

Hopefully my explanation will be help you.

many thanks

I like 151:

For some reason the top of the 2 looks just a shade light. I know its in that water line, but can you darken that just a tiny bit?

Also, can you do an option in a blue like #144 so we can look at both side by side?

Awesome job. Also, after the contest is done I'd like to talk about other things. We are building a business from scratch and will need brochure, literature, website, FB design, marketing materials, etc. Would like to create a relationship. Do you do more than just logos? Obviously you can see I am very detailed, hope you can work with that?

Thanks

Hi Glen,

I submit #152 #153 based from your recent request.
Yes, I can make marketing material (brochure, etc) and I am detailed too. we can discuss after this contest complete.

Many thanks

Royan, The color scheme we like is #153, but we still like the way that #150 looks. It seems like its more of a reflection and a clear water line running through the letters. We would like to keep the color scheme of 153, but with the look of 153.

I plan to close the contest after that revision and award to you, as I'm sure you knew.
Thanks, Glen
