Color Preferences
Greys, Brick Red (#b22222 Color Hex Fire brick maybe), black.
My previous colors were bright, fire engine red, white & black for many years but after doing some research, I learned that most women (my target audience) do not respond well to bright red, so thinking of going with a deeper red since the top 2 colors that appeal to women are shades of purple and blue. Most of my competition uses blue so I'd like to stay away from that although I would consider a turquoise.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
I do not want any music notes, piano keys, microphones, compact discs, or similarly overused images in my industry. I've always loved the Sirius XM logo with the sound waves on either side or even a royal type emblem that incorporates a letter(s) (see samples attached). My challenge is looking for something that is cool and hip enough for the women, ages 25-35 but classic enough to also appeal to their parents and an older demographic ages 40-60. Something that represents the best or better than average.
Changing the name of my company from Classic Disc Jockeys to Classic Collective DJs and in another year or so plan to drop the Classic and most likely will go with The Collective as we will be offering DJs a s well as lighting, sound, photo booths, etc.
I've attached my old, outdated logo that I created about 6 years ago.

I definitely prefer the deep Red/Grey combination, followed by the Turquoise/Grey logos rather than the multi-colored logos or ones that don't use the greys. I like the use of a bold image/emblem/letterform to the left of the other text. I've always loved the Sirius XM logo with the sound waves on either side or even a royal type emblem that incorporates a letter(s) (see samples attached). Pehaps that image/emblem/letterform could stand on its own for shirts, promotional items for branding.

Thanks so much to all of you for submitting. It's very exciting to get your ideas and designs. I definitely prefer the bolder font for the word "Classic" and still leaning toward the deep red/grey color combination but if I saw a design in turquoise, I could be persuaded to seriously consider that too.

I would like to see some options with other bold emblem/shield images with sound waves along with the words if some designers would like to submit. See idea emblem images attached to the contest brief.

Still looking to get some logo ideas related to the Royal/Shield/Emblem ideas based on the jpg images that I attached to the contest brief. Also, some more turquoise logo ideas would be great to help the committee make the decision. Let's see what you have and thanks in advance for your work and creativity!!
