Hi Xyan! These are very cool! In #51 & #49, I love the idea of water, and I don't know if you actually took a look at a speaker/transducer, but the blue circle indicates the actual product to us. And while "Technology" is not an actual part of our company name, I love the way #51 & #49 line up--it's very nice visually.
With #52 & #50, I like the idea, but am having trouble with the shape behind the blue circle....I think because I want it to Mean something, and it reminds me of a small plastic letter opener from an office store. Still nice, though.
Overall, AWEsome job! Can't wait to talk to the President about these.
Xyan, Just talked to the boss. He does like these very much. He has two questions--Most importantly, has this symbol above the words been used ANYWHERE else? This is important since we will be trademarking our winning logo. The second question is this: What would it look like without the blue circle?
I personally would like to see a combination of the black "Clark" with a blue "Synthesis"
Hi! yes the logo is original which I used for logotournament just waiting for the right company to own it. Thanks for the support with this logo I'll update the logo as requested.
Hi Xyan. Nice job. On # 74 & #75, our President would like to see: 1) a black & white version, keeping in mind that he thinks the grey used in #51 will get lost when we put it on a label that goes on the actual speaker. 2) Now that the blue circle is gone (which I liked!), the President would like to see the triangular tip at the top removed--is that clear? He just wants the circular rings, or waves.
We'd love to see you run with more versions of these two...for example, placing the icon left or right of the words. I saw the Provision logo in your portfolio.....something like that.
Hi thanks for the great support, just got home & excited to update the logo as well. Yes in a black & white version #51 will likely be different from the colored version, while #74 & #75 will keep its form because its simpler in form. Anyway I will make some more options with arrangements & modifications as requested. Thank you.
Well, GOOD MORNING to you, too! We had a lot to talk about today! All of us were in my office bouncing around ideas, and I hope you don't mind more tweaking, because you are working very hard. Here's our feedback. I will focus on #93--could you do the following?:
remove the little notch at the bottom of the icon on all further revisions? execute just black on white? show us the icon on the left? show us the icon tilted with the right side up when above the words? show us a couple more fonts? the president would like to stick to sans serif, with a "crisper font with sharper edges"
Hi Xyan, this is Patricia. I am so happy we are back to #70. Thank you so much for all the font variations this morning. Bill is out today, so you may not hear from us until tomorrow. Thank you.
Xyan, it is Patricia again. I have one request of you so I can show Bill something.
Yesterday, we discussed the fact that the blue circle looks like a sphere, or globe. Would you go to our website at clarksynthesis.com and take a look at what our underwater speaker/transducer actually looks like? While it is round, it is not shaped like a ball.
I don't know what to ask you to do to offer an alternative to the spherical globe effect. Could you try just one alternative to this after you look at a photo of our product? There is no need to do many alternate versions. I appreciate that you are so responsive and industrious, but we are almost there with the final. Thank you!
Good Morning Xyan! Bill & I talked this morning at length. I think just one more round of feedback & minor requests. We both really appreciate taking a look at #229, 228 & 227, but we're going to let that go and stick with the blue "pearl" as we call. So no more icon revisions. Yea!
Here is what we would like to see with fonts at this point: #70 font--we see you have used this one in many versions. We have decided we like small caps best, like this one. Can we see this particular font in bold font? Also, what we like about this one is the squared off appearance of the "C". Are there any similar fonts in which the "C" is still squared, yet do not have the slight "hook" or partial serif at the edges of the "C"?
#208 font--could we see this font in bold and small caps?
#223 font--could we see this font in bold and small caps?
Thank you! We look forward to completing things with you!
