much better lotus. The "in yoga" seems a bit light in color and so is hard to read. This is our favorite one from you so far. ;-) The graphic of the lotus is nicely integrated witht he text and the dot of the "i" acts as the stem of the lotus. Nice.
We prefer the more open, lighter lotus to one that is filled in with solid blocks of color. Shape of the petals could be more flowing with "s" shape swerve at the tips and tips pointing upwards to be uplifting.
Unbalanced. Too heavy on left side. Text and graphics seem too separated. We find gradients more pleasing than single blocks of colors as it provides a visual transformation in the same way that yoga provides a spiritual transformation.
We like this simpler, more open lotus compared to the other ones. My wife really doesn't like the person inside the lotus - she feels it has been used too much. Right now this is our favorite one from you. The lotus could be more uplifting with the points doing a little "S" type curve upwards instead of symmetrical petals. A little less busy towards the center. Use of a gradient in the lotus would be nice: Fusica to a blueish leaning teal. Maybe pull the dot of the "i" and the lotus closer to the stem of the "I" . If possible make the lotus a little larger if it will not run into the "t"
I like this except for the black color for the star but it reminds my wife of the 'Bewitched' series from TV many years ago. Sigh! Probably because of that she finds the cursive font a bit old-fashioned. Generally we are looking for a modern sans-serif font with high legibility. Again, nice use of visual space.
We both like the way you used the space in this one with the (classic pose) being larger so the lotus nestles down. Also really good is that you used the "i" as the stem of the lotus and the point of the "i" is the place from which all the petals emanate - very nice! Great use of space below the clarity to fit in the "in yoga". We think the lotus could be less heavy. Perhaps made from strokes and using the colors we suggested: fuscia & teal/blue. We are also looking at logos that can elegantly include the tag line but that is not a deal breaker if the beauty of something simpler like this is really compelling in comparison.
