the key which symbolizes the gate (opener) and is transformed into the city (buildings, linear sensation)

Nice take on the concept! I got the "key to the city" reference right away, and then I saw the skyline. I like this version the best of the four you submitted because it's the most legible on small and large screens alike.

#94 i think is the best one so far. the key has a darker color than the text "films", this way making the text "citygate" much readable, more prominent. Modified the skyline to fit in the design.

What do you think so far?

this is how it will look on a black movie-intro scene - the key-city should be animated from the end to beginning, starting from the buildings and finishing with the C and then the text "itygate" should be written (letter by letter), and at the end the "films" text pops up. The lights in the background should move slowly (more like a hovering effect) - this way making your logo like the ones at the beginning of the movies.

this is only for previewing and should not be considered as a stand-alone logo.
