City of Vallejo Citizens Academy Overview

The City of Vallejo is proud to announce the first Citizens Academy of its kind in the City.

Vallejo community members, including youth, who want to get more involved with the City will have the opportunity to participate in a free nine-week Citizens Academy to engage with City of Vallejo staff and learn about their city government. Opportunities include:
Meeting with City leaders, Department Directors, and staff.
Learning how individual departments operate, with complete overviews and hands-on activities.
Understanding how we make decisions and how we allocate funds.

This is a unique way for you to participate in lively discussions and interactive activities with fellow community members and become a more involved and informed citizen. The Citizens Academy will continue as long as there is an interest from the community.
