We love design #138 and especially the qualities of movement and energy which come forward. It dances! We would love to see it in other colors. The other qualities we're looking to bring out in the colors and the fonts are playfulness, growth and heart energy. We are also very interested in seeing more of your work that may also have these qualities. Many thanks.
Hi! While we have 301 ranked, we actually like 294's direction better. For 294, The more hand- drawn and organic the circle work can look, the better. We like the treatment of the name Circle to Circle inside the spiraling circles. We like the spiraling effect as well, and perhaps you can get a little more white space between them. We are not keen on the colors you have chosen in 294. Can you think about what colors signify growth, healing, freshness, and a real sense of life lived in possibility and see if the colors you would pick might change? We like the white background. Don't make the circles so quiet that they seem to be faded. Also ask if the type you are using is the strongest for establishing a relationship between the graphics and the type?
You are really working hard on our behalf and we really appreciate it!!!
Congratulations Ilkay! in being selected as one of the five finalists for Circle to Circle. You were selected based upon you the effort you put forward, the quality and creativity of your designs, and most importantly, your willingness to listen to and work with our feedback. We also deeply appreciate the variety of looks you have given us.
As you move into this next phase, we wanted to be clear about what it is that we are seeking to do (in part because you asked us!) in order to help you improve upon your designs.
We are the stewards of a new body of knowledge that teaches and encourages people to see that they are energetic beings being human. You yourself may have read articles or books which put forth the premise that everything in the Universe is energy that under natural circumstances can form material things, such as planets, animals, and even humans, etc. As we have grown up, this premise has not been at the forefront of the teaching in our schools or communities.
This body of information is unlike any offered during this time. Based on the underlying truth that Everything is Energy, it’s wisdom, when practiced, leads to growth, healing and a deepening experience of conection. It is practical, inspirational and a complete representation of what is natural. It is not considered new age or religious. The easiest way to think of it is as a course of learning people can undertake in order to create growth, healing and an opening sense of possibility in their lives.
Only a handful of people know this material at this time, so Circle to Circle has been formed to create circles of learning, be they a single person engaged in the material or groups of individuals, organizations or companies studying and practicing its wisdom. The more people who touch this work, the more there is possibility to bring about a new understanding of the way that life works naturally.
The logos you have created to date are the expression of this work.
The design that you have created that we feel best reflects our work are is # 443. We like the warmth, the suggestion of spirituality and energy in the purple color, the way the circles are organically positioned, the way they are connected and we like the different colors shading that occurs when they meet and new possibilities emerge (the bright colors in the middle). We would like you to work on this by thinking about the fact that there is a source (the material we refer to in the paragraphs above) from which all of the circles come from. Is there something that could be developed to represent this source? Also play with the location of the words circle to circle and see what else might emerge.
Also, if you feel the description above leads you in a brand new direction, then by all means we are open to exploring it with you.
If you have any questions, we are happy to answer them. We ask you to follow your intuition and create from your heart. We thank you for all of the hard work you have put forward thus far.
just to be a bit more specific -- 1) in #443 the words circle to circle are lost -- partly because of size of font, partly because of the blur of color -- 2) overall this logo is just a bit too busy (i.e. too many circles) try simplifying just a bit and let us see if this is enough -- 3) also we are worried about reproduction of color off less expensive printers -- with the shading of colors inside the -- we don't want a printer to take a really good logo and make it look smudged.
