This is a simple profile with stylized lines. 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #366 Withdrawn Can the lips be a bit MORE abstract, a little less defined? 8 years ago Positive Space commented on #493 Withdrawn I did some googling on all the popular makeup brands. And literally all of them are very simple logos, you are right. Simple with small unique element to them. No colors. Of course, when you print it on tiny items like lip gloss and tubes, it can't be complex or it looks cheap. 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #366 Withdrawn I am wondering what this looks like on a box - would lips on a foundation box look right? I am not sure... 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #375 Withdrawn I like these - but I worry about the lips competing as a black and white logo - what do you think? 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #366 Withdrawn We like this - can we abstract these lips a little more? 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #367 Withdrawn Let's work on these concepts - 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #363 Withdrawn We like this - it is cool. We wonder how it might look incorporated into a letter or even in the background without competing with the font? 8 years ago Positive Space commented on #338 Withdrawn so, you want Chloe to be in cursive? 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #338 Withdrawn Let's lead with a stronger signature Chloe on top - also let's try it with an abstract pair of lips instead - nice and bright red. 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #336 Withdrawn I think I like the concept - but maybe we just need a different font O? 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #333 Withdrawn This is cool - I like it. Can we widen the effect so it doesn't overlap that much? 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #323 Withdrawn Also, I just noticed this - Ainsley is not spelled correctly :) 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #329 Withdrawn Can we find a way to use a creative element in the background without competing with her name? 8 years ago Positive Space commented on #332 Withdrawn Here I took the transparency down more and removed the makeup tools. 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #331 Withdrawn I like the A in this. 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #330 Withdrawn I like it but don't love the boxy-ness. 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #329 Withdrawn I definitely prefer the eye shadowy texture - I love glitter. I just worry about it competing with her name. I would omit the makeup brushes below though. 8 years ago Positive Space commented on #329 Withdrawn Kind of more eye shadowy texture here. Greyscale 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #325 Withdrawn I am not sure about this one... I think I am getting confused :/ 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #323 Withdrawn I like this - but I still like the concept of the first one .... Let me noodle on this one. 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #320 Withdrawn Ok - this is cool - is there a way to orient that line near her O to give it an abstract eye? 8 years ago Positive Space commented on #318 Withdrawn I was just thinking that! I will upload 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #318 Withdrawn What if we ditched the eyeball and kept the lashes and line? Can we make the eye less of an eye and the face less of a face? 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #317 Withdrawn These are really cool. I defer to you. I am not sure we would go in the direction of eyes or a face.... but it is certainly unique. 8 years ago Positive Space commented on #298 Withdrawn I totally get you. I think it's just my style is more "juvenile" than Elizabeth Arden. Sorry :) 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #298 Withdrawn I like this but it feels like Betsy Johnson with the heart. She is young so I am trying for it not to be too juvenille. 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #296 Withdrawn I like this - but I wish it looked more like the texture of eye shadow and less like watercolor. Maybe pearlized? I hope that makes sense. Also, I don't want it to scream makeup - since she can include skin care, etc. Can we use an abstract element to represent makeup or something? 8 years ago alexmcderm42 commented on #297 Withdrawn I like your designs. I am trying to steer away from cutsie - and sticking with strong, bold, elegant, and trendy. I love the splash of color behind but since it is on a box - they may make us stick with black on white background. If so, whatever color aspects that are part of the logo must work as black and white and not compete with the logo. 8 years ago
