What We Do
Our focus is AIDS: education, prevention and support for all affected by HIV in the Tennessee Valley.
Industry
Non-Profit
Color Preferences
The color palate for the logo is red, white and black. Our audience already associates Chattanooga CARES with these colors.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
The red ribbon needs to be incorporated into the logo somehow. The logo can go from conservative to very creative, from simple to embellished, vintage to modern and/or from elegant to funky. Anything goes. We are hoping to get a unique logo that will stand out from the crowd, thus representing us well and professionally. Many celebrities like Bono, from U2, have made the HIV/AIDS cause hip with the RED campaign. United Way has become more hip with their Live United campaign. Both of these campaigns have been very successful at raising awareness and getting people involved. That is our aim.

Thank you to all that have submitted designs for our logo. I love the fact that everyone brings something unique to the table. I would like to ask that if you are considering submitting a logo that you make the awareness ribbon recognizable as such. I noticed that some of you have gotten creative with the ribbon and have come up with some great designs, but since our name does not have any references to AIDS or HIV, the red awareness ribbon has to do the job of letting people know what we do. Thanks again!

There has been a rank reshuffle. I have to say it has been hard to rank with such great submissions from such a talented group of designers. I would also like to see options for a logo that still has the classic red awareness ribbon, but incorporated differently into the logo. I have uploaded some images/examples of this to the contest brief.

I will be meeting with a committee to make the final decision next week, Please keep the submissions coming!

I want to thank everyone for your interest and your support. What a wonderful contest!

Hi designers,

Wow what a flurry of activity we've had today. I'm having a little bit of trouble deciding which logo I like the best. The ranks are not exact yet, I will get together with a committee tomorrow night to decide on the final winner. Please keep your submissions coming, it's still anyone's game!

Thank you for all your submissions and your hard work.

Cheers!
