Check the comments on the individual entries...but so far:

We like the simplicity and the fade in #1. Don't think we need the .com. Want to see more colors.
We want a tattoo of #2, but not sure we want it as a logo. Eagle too stern (almost angry). Font's "F" makes the logo fell unbalanced.
We like the guy concept in #3, but do not like purple and are not sure about the font.

We know you are focused on design, but we need to spell CHARACTER correctly :)

#10 - like the stylized eagle. would like more color usage (and of course, spelling)

#9 - this idea is growing on us.

#8 - left in ranking because we still think it is cool, just not sure it is “us”

#5 - very cool. really like the low long feel and how it matches and works with the relatively long name. the flame feel is too tattoo like for us, but we see something here that could be good if the bird got a little more bird like. (and spelling)

#6 - interesting rendition of an eagle. very creative. it may be a little to complex. we are hoping to get away from the complex and detailed logo we now have and move toward a more stylized version.

The eagles are good ideas, but we are not locked into that image. Anyone got any other ideas for a representation of our concept?

So far we are very impressed with the talent showing up here. There are lots of great ideas. Not all of them are a good fit for us, but that does not make them bad ideas. So far we only have one deviation from the eagle theme. We would love to see other options if the creative community can come up with some.

As you can see by the rankings we are leaning toward more use of color, simple design, and what is probably a little on the traditional side.

If we are not providing the kind of feedback that helps you develop designs we will like, please ask questions!

thanks

t3design , do you want or open for an iconic shape or a symbol that represents a character ? what other options do you have on mind to represent character first ? i would like to know more feedback on that direction , it will help, thank you

We are very open to an icon. We can see a possibility of an icon that is combined with the name until brand recognition sets in, then could be used alone.

we are liking the "1" with a dot so far. #53

Character is not easy to capture with an icon. Person-to person. Relationship. Something being first. These may be helpful.

We have some other principles coming to look over the designs Monday, so ranking may change after that.

we continue to be impressed with the ideas and designs coming in. we got some additional input from the other principles and have updated the rankings to reflect the following:

"Character" should be visually more prominent than "First".

The bird themes are not as favored as the "people" themes.

The "One" or "1" concepts are interesting, but some of them look too much like "i". If the dot was lower would it look more like a person?

We are meeting with the execs and the creative team tomorrow at 9:00 CST (USA) to re-rank all submissions (both currently ranked and any new)

Thanks!!
