We are a team of researchers that extract the stories from wood samples. Trees are witness to fires, climate change, etc. and we are able to gather that information to benefit science and history.

Our research lab focuses on the following areas of study:
Forest Ecology & Management
Fire Ecology
Climate Dynamics
Environmental Chemistry
Archaeology
Wood Anatomy
Herbchronology

We are open to colors. We like cooler colors. Examples of nice colors for us might be: Brown, Green, Blue, White, and Maroon. We like darker tones rather than pastels or light tones. We would like to use multiple colors in the logo and do not want a monochrome logo.

We do not want to incorporate red, purple, pink, yellow, etc.

We work with tree rings and definitely want to incorporate circles in our logo. This can be either by using an actual tree ring texture (even if it isn't in the shape of a perfect circle or the full tree ring ie a just the pattern) or by using circles in another way.

We want our full name in the logo. If certain words are emphasized or are bigger those should be Tree-Ring Science.
