I like the concept of #4 with the molecule. This is something that is more what we are looking for. It is original and clever. Using science to produce a logo. I don't quite understand the leaf in #12 and #13.
I like the maple-leaf incorporated with the double helix, and would like to see without the 40th anniversary incorporated. I also like to have some link to the past logo with it appearing as a smaller logo within the logo and matching the colour.
We like your logo and would like to use the 40th anniversary version for the first year and then drop all of the 40th reference and go with the base logo of the leaf. We need these to be bilingual. Can you edit to include "Canadian College of Medical Geneticists - Collège canadien de généticiens médicaux" The acronym to be "CCMG-CCGM" The tag line can be dropped if the design gets too busy otherwise it should be be "The voice of medical genetics in Canada - La voix de la génétique médicale au Canada in addition ". All this being said, the logo would have multiple forms. One with text and one simply the Canada leaf with the helix. Does this all make sense?
