Our Ideas & Additional Information
The business name & website address is CaryRealEstate.com. I prefer that only the first letter of each word be capitalized - My tagline is 'Cary's Best Address". I've had the idea of maybe incorporating a mailbox into the logo - bringing together the real estate element with the address element. The logo needs to be effective on the web as well as on a real estate sign in the yard. It should be bright and have a 'pop' factor. I prefer a 'web 2.0' look the most.

Sunshine - Design #5 - Thank you for your entry - I like the fact that CaryRealEstate.com is easy to read but the background image of the door/yard/mailbox is to 'cartoony' for my taste.

Marcn - Design #3 - Thank you for your entry - I like how clear and clean CaryRealEstate.com appears and the fact that you only capitalized the first letter of each word - I like the . dom wrapping vertically - I'm not a fan of the design of the mailbox - it reminds me of a school house and the flag on the side of the mailbox looks more like a pennant that a mailbox flag - I would like to see a deeper blue instead of the 'twitter' blue and adding some color/pop to the domain name or the tag line

Design #4 - Thank you for your entry - Your entry seems the most 'original' to me - I really like the color of blue and orange that you used - the font feels to 'techy' for my taste, too much like its a computer company - is there anyway to turn the cool rectangle into more of a mailbox shape?

Design #1 - Thanks for being the first to submit - unfortunately it doesn't 'pop' to me - it's a little more basic than what i was hoping for and the house/mailbox is too 'cartoony' for my tast

Design #2 - Thank you for your entry - I wanted to like yours but the 'C' in both Cary's seem to get lost in the mailbox - also if I go with blue i most likely want some orange mixed in as well for more of a 'pop' effect.

Design #6 - Sunshine - I like the separation of Cary from Real Estate with the mailbox post and i like your different use of colors - its the mailbox & shrubs that I would like to see look more polished or 'upscale'

#15 - LOVE the font style and shading of 'CaryRealEstate'! - not a fan of the gray - prefer to stay with a blue/orange combination or a green/white/black. Not a fan of the house above the domain name, to generic for me as so many real estate logos have a house. Not a fan of the script font for the tag line.

#12 - really like the idea of the mailbox as the outline shape - would prefer the domain name to only have 3 capital letters - CaryRealEstate.com

not a fan of the 'stenciling' on the mailbox - the graphic houses on the mailbox are a little too contemporary for my taste - any possibility of placing a 'letter' on the mailbox and incorporating the tagline with it?

i prefer the shades of blue and orange that #7 used

pamoroan - sorry i messed you up - #8 is too compressed for my style - I do like the rounded edge on the left side and the slanted mailbox door opening on the right side - it would be nice to see that on #7

and fyi - i really like the font style on #15

#13 - I like the use of the envelope but the tagline is way too small and i dont care for the back ground city scape in the envelope

#23 - creative use of the mailbox flag arm for the L in Real - anyway to tie in a mailbox underneath the domain name and have the tagline appear on the mailbox?

Dear CH,

This post was used on a different competition to highlight some rules of the LT (previously posted by Dazzle - Moderator for LT)

How are you doing ? hope you are doing great. As this contest is about to come to an end, and you will be chosing the best new logo for your company, i just wanted to have your attention to some important point that you might be aware of or might not. I hope i am not miss understood by pointing out this to you and that you understand.

When the contest ends and you have made your mind and desicion about the winner logo, the winner gets the 1st place, but the 2nd and 3rd place and going on forward, 4th, 5th, 6th , etc , each one or slot should be filled with a seperate designer and different concept you found second best, third best to follow etc.

This helps towards us designers ranking and also it is a way from you to show your appreciation to the hard effort and trails put from the beginning by one designer or appreciating a nice design concept put earlier by a designer that led to developing on right direction for others and you getting the best you could at the end.

It feels frasturating for other designers and pointless of giving all the top rankings for same winner designer, while those were just a small variations of the winning design and therefore the other places 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc are not filled with different designs from a different designer.

So i hope you understood my point i was just trying to point out to you here and all the best of luck in chosing your winner logo, there are really good ones out there.

Best Regards,

Kareem "

I believe 2nd and 3rd are the obligated places ones BUT the rest run to CH criteria so there's no obligation to give everybody else those points the effort from one single designer to arrive to the best result is also important, thanks.
