Discussion

#2, this is a good start, but not really my color palette. Please revise using medium cobalt blue and lime greens (see the colors I mention in the contest brief). The yellow you've used is okay for now. I'd also like to see it reds, oranges, and yellows (think of fire), using the colors I mention in the contest brief. In both designs, I'd like the word "designs" to be in the same color as "Carolyn K." so that it's clear it's all part of the name of the business. I think I'd choose the blue for the blue design and the red for the fire design, for the text. I'd also like to see the logo image with crisper lines. There's something appealing about the rough edges you've designed, but I'd like to see it with more clean lines to compare.

Hello, thank you fr the feedback.
I did one other design in few color variations, and one similar to first with clean lines. I hope you like these colors better.
Further revisions are welcome!

Thank you,

Thank you for the additional designs.

#14, #15, #17 – I love the font you have chosen for all of your designs for me…it’s my favorite of all of the fonts I’ve seen in my contest so far. I also really like how you made the image look like glass (curved surface and highlight) and the reflection in #14. However, the design in the image is too complex. This will be printed very small in some cases (think of a simple return address label size) and it’s hard then to make out the detail at that size. I also don’t like the blue/orange combo and the dark/light blue is too monochromatic. Cobalt/lime or cobalt/turquoise would be better combinations. The red/orange is good.

#18 – I like the basic design of the blue part of the image, but not the yellow and green behind. I think it makes it too busy.

So, maybe you could try doing what you did in #14 (style wise), but with the blue part of the image from #18, once using both the double dots you have here and once using the single dots as in #4. But I’d like to see these in the cobalt/lime, cobalt/turquoise or red/orange combination.

Thank you for your continued efforts!

Yeya,

Thank you for your new designs. I like them. Here are some modifications I'd like to see.

#37 - please try in cobalt and lime, and then also cobalt and turquoise
#36 - please try in cobalt, lime and turquoise.
#35 - there are too many different shades of colors. I'd like to see this with just the cobalt background and then swirls of lime and dots of lime and turquoise...no purple or other varigations.
#33 is too pale, but thanks.
#34 - I prefer the designs that look like a "piece". Thanks for trying something different.

Also, please check out the general comment I added. I like what I'm seeing, but I'm still open to something very different.

Thanks!
