Find out how LogoTournament works How LogoTournament works Contest Logo Design Brief Edit Client predman Australia What We Do Carbon Larder is a community business that sells biochar to profitably and rapidly store atmospheric carbon in a way that improves the health and resilience of our soils, gardens and food supply. Industry Home & Garden Color Preferences Would like to see green (fertility, nature etc...), brown/black (soil, biochar) and..? Would not like purple, grey. Our Ideas & Additional Information The Carbon Larder business is division of the Natural Strategies Group (www.naturalstrategies.com.au) and it would be good if the logo would reference this relationship either by borrowing or extending elements of our current logo (see our site and attached logo). Although this guideline should be treated loosely. The logo will primarily be used on 30 litre bags of our biochar product, as well as web, and Point of sale materials, etc. I have included an image of a competitors bag to highlight where it will be seen most often. This probably means the logo should be wide rather than tall in order to fit on the bags... The business is focused on using the subsoil environment and micro-organisms to foster the growth on soil carbon... 14 years ago Biink Design Logo Designer Dear CH,are you looking for a something aside from an emblem? as your picks seem to indicate you prefer a pictoral/word form mark. Thanks. 14 years ago predman Client The key challenge is to depict the biochar and soil focus of what Carbon Larder does. While the plant (above the surface) is easier depict, it's use implies we are selling plants not soil additives i.e. biochar...#51, #31. #63 etc try to do this yet lose simplicity in the process, most other preference the simple stem and leaf yet are in danger of drifting off what Carbon Larder does i.e. Store carbon in the ground to increase your gardens productivity. 14 years ago
