I think this logo is GREAT! I LOVE the shark character. The "J" hook is good. Maybe give the shark a captain/customer look with a flat cap hat. The shark looks hungry which I like a lot. I like the logo at the top but I and I like the lettering but I would like to be able to read the letters better. Maybe use the lettering and font from entry #12 for entry #11. Definitely like entry #11 the best so far. I like the slogan on the bottom. Thank you for your submission. I can't wait to see your next one(s). I like the tongue on the shark.
THANKS MAKOU! The colors are great as well. Don't change that. Maybe make the hat either, gray or blue with maybe some red in it. Really I just want the lettering to stand out more so it can be seen well on a sign..
I like entry #13 the best overall. The hat is perfect. Is there a way to make the letters a little more defined. Maybe separate them a bit or a slightly different font. Also, can you bring the Hook/J's up a little closer to the Sea. Maybe make the J longer/bigger without taking it away from the Shark's mouth. I like the yellow in the lettering and the slogan being in black lettering.
Okay, we are getting closer. The J still looks too separated from Captain Sea. The shark is great but it is so prominent that it looks like Captain Shark with a quick glance. If you could make the J the same lettering and color as "Captain Sea" and either put it below Captain Sea or next to Captain Sea. Either way the "J" has to be part of Captain Sea. Even if the Shark is not close to it. Also can you make the circle a Ship Portal Window with the Shark coming through "window." Just playing with the "sea theme." You can keep the circle just have the portal opening up to the left of the Shark. Thank you for your continued improvements.
Way to go Makou!. Great. Now if you could please just lift up the "Captain Sea J's" from the shark so that the shark doesn't overlap the letters and separate the "J" from the "s." a little and leave a little space between Captain and Sea. The hook looks great. the font is good, maybe contour it a little rounded so it comes around the top of the logo. Not real tight around like the slogan but slightly rounded. Also, what do you think about putting a CJ on the shark's hat. That will be the name will we give it. CJ the shark. A little play with the name. Thank you. Once again you are coming through big time.
I have to say Makou your logo design is my favorite by looking at entry #22, which is just the picture without the company name and slogan. Your shark is great, your ship portal is perfect. The hat on the shark is great and I love the tongue. It makes everyone I show laugh. Perfect placement of the slogan along the bottom of the logo. However please work on the lettering and placement of the "Captain Sea J's. The color's are fine but the J needs to be more defined as part of the company name and more like a hook. Would you consider making the J larger than Captain Sea so it pops out more? Could you try using a couple different fonts in the lettering for Captain Sea and redesign the J to make it bigger and more part of the company name? Don't have to change anything as far as graphics go other than maybe but a "CJ" on the hat. If you have to make the hat Slightly larger that's fine. Thank you. I love the CJ on the hat. Great attention to detail. The hook is definitely better. Maybe make the hole at the top of the "J" slightly bigger and the "s" a little more removed from the "J." So you can have some room between the J the ' and the s. (J 's) instead of (J's). I like the idea of having Captain Sea J's in the color red. Also don't change the logo from the artwork in Entry #22. I like the slogan in Black lettering around the bottom and the ship portal just like you had it before in Entry #22 with Blue hue around the entire window. Don't change that please. Bring that back. The only think I wanted you to change was the font and position of the letters in the company name. Captain Sea J 's. Again think J 's instead of J's. Notice the spacing. Thank you
I want the letters Uniform in Captain Sea J's. All the same Color. Maybe make the Captain and Sea solid Red with Black outline and the J/hook a little lighter Red with a Black and white outline. Also, could the hook have two tines instead of just one. Maybe a slightly more 3D look with it being thinner on the top and being slightly wider on the bottom. It needs to read real easy as it will be on a sign. I like your shark the best and the only reason I like the other logo's better is strictly because of the lettering and hook design.
I like the Red. Maybe a slightly deeper red and not as bright. The hook looks better but the tip comes up too far and the tip is too big compared to the rest of the "J". Keep the "J" looking like a J if you can. However, you are once again in the lead. I have to reward all your hard work. Try experimenting with the font and type of lettering with entry #48 and refining the "J" a little bit. Still looking for some space between the J and the 's.
I like the font on this one, the J is great, Don't change anything but position of letters.
I like the slogan on the bottom of the picture and the Captain Sea J's along the top.
Make the Captain Sea J's centered just above the shark and try not to have it overlap the shark or window frame at all. I like the lettering in entry #43 and #58. Make it similar to that. Thank you
Please read this message. You will win if we can fix a couple of things.
The shark needs to be more up and down. The shark in entry #70 looks crooked now. Please place the shark back to where it was before in entry #22. Use the lettering you used for the FIND in your logo design for FIND Local Plumbers. The red Find in your first submission is a great and is very easy read. Your Captain Sea J's is still too small and need to be a little more above the shark. The J/hook is fine. Just make the "Captain Sea J's" larger, more simple easy to read, and bring the letter up a little higher in the logo. The "Captain Sea J's doesn't have to be right on top of the shark. Please move the shark back to it's entry #22 position and make the "Captain Sea J's more readable and you will win. I like your shark design the best.
Can you do entry #22 with the CJ on the hat? I like the size of that logo the best and may just want to pick this as the winner if the lettering doesn't come out right. Thanks.
Please keep in mind that this logo is going to go on a sign the has to be readable from a long distance. That is why I like the red color and I need it to be simple and crisp. The lettering you use for the slogan is perfect. Please do not change that. Thanks

Feel free to continue to try another type of lettering. Keep the color the same makes it read easier. However, the different color hook is a great touch, it doesn't work when reading it. Thank you for your all work.
