Thanks, Intrepidguppy, for entering! It's attractive! And being Canadian I think you have the true red of our flag in the logo. We are having an executive meeting tonight so we are all going to together rank the entries and offer suggestions as necessary. Of course the contest is continuing but it is just handy we are meeting tonight. JL Secretary
And now the executive have added their further comments. Would you be willing to do the logo -- at least the acronym in darker royal blue? Could you add the snake Asclepius to the vertical arm of the T? Or try it as an exclamation mark after CAMTA! Thanks. JL Secretary of CAMTA
I understand your preference for the staff...but would your team agree that it might draw attention away from the actual logo if the text was altered that way? Then the logo and text would fight for visual dominance.
HI Intrepidguppy. Our president, MM likes you new submission #27. But he wonders if you could make the snake with more contrast. He likes the centre position of the snake as you did it. Thanks. JL Secretary
HI Intrepidguppy. Thanks for your variations with the triple mapleleafs. I think we are vacillating between the single maple-leaf swirling around the globe and the triple with a slight preponderance favouring the single. However now there is a thought that we want to drop the full name from the logo. And the President and the Treasurer both are wondering if there is a better stethoscope that would have higher contrast. Your stethoscope looks like the sort that hangs off the back of the anesthetic machine -- $15 special! I don't know how we can portray quality in a stethoscope. That may be impossible seeing as we need contrast and simplicity in the element! The logic behind dropping the full name is that we will also use the logo on our scrubs -- embroidered on. Thanks for your excellent work to date! John Secretary CAMTA
Totally understand :) Maybe you can provide me with 3 references of 'that's the awesomest stethoscope ever!' scopes so I can know what to draw. Happy to try it out.
Hi Intrepidguppy, Your #26 stands as the favourite with it's more distinct stethoscope and the maple-leaf revision. However there is some concern now about our robin blue scrubs on to which we will embroider the logo. Do you mind changing CAMTA to red from the blue? Then it should embroider better. There is still this concern about a better looking stethoscope but personally I find your new one fine. Thanks for your work on behalf of CAMTA! John
HI again Intrepidguppy, And now people are liking the shading. I forgot to mention -- could also shade the red letters of CAMTA like you did with the blue in an earlier iteration. Thanks.
Thanks, Intrepidguppy. There would seem to be adequate contrast for embroidering. I note the acronym is solid without fade now. I personally haven't found a good stethoscope and no one else in our membership has sent me a link yet either. In the next day I am handing off the communication role on this competition to the Treasurer of our organization. She'll be updating the rankings etc based on general feedback. Thanks. JL Secretary
#26 Hi Intrepidguppy Will you please try the logo without the words Canadian Association of Medical Teams Abroad and put instead: "Helping - Teaching - Caring - Treating" Thanks! BM Treasurer/CAMTA
As requested - also made the ear knobs a little more inconspicuous...I think that may be a main reason that makes them look a bit 'anesthesia machinish'.
#72 Hi intrepidguppy, Thanks for your ongoing efforts! Another request...will you try encircling the globe with the words "Canadian Association of Medical Teams Abroad"? Thanks! BM - Treasurer/CAMTA
