Hi EastCoast Creative, Your entry is preferred by 5 of 7 of our executive at this point. But all of them were wondering if you could do the CAMTA letters in deep royal blue and add a snake (Aesclepius) to the vertical stem of the T? And a variation might have the Aesclepius as an exclamation mark. Thanks. JL, Secretary
Hi East Coast Creative.... here's some comments from one executive member. Thanks. JL Secretary
I like the font of #15 and #23, and the blue and red of #23,
I like the logo of #15 but wonder if it should convey our medical component. #17's stethoscope does reinforce this component but I wonder if it is too literal. I actually like the blue planet more in #26
Otherwise I would rank the logos in much the same order but not consider #4, #14, #24, #25

P.S. If we had the logo embroidered on our scrubs, #15's logo and font would look very good. Anything with the dark blue would be camouflaged by the scrubs.
Hi East Coast Creative, Our President, MM likes #15 but he's wondering what it would look like if you changed "CAMTA" lettering to a deep royal blue and could you try a snake around the vertical stem of the T?? The snake (aesclepius) would give our audience the visual knowledge that we are medical. Thanks very much for your hardwork! Thanks. JL Secretary
Hi East Coast Creative. Thanks for your message that you are working on new designs. We look forward to seeing them. In the course of the first few days of this competition, we have decided we prefer not to use the caduceus or aesclepius symbol of healing (serpent) in the logo. This is because we are a very wide group of health care people including doctors but also nurses, physiotherapists and respiratory therapists. Thus it is probaby better if we use the stethoscope as a good symbol to project the health care nature of our work. The other thing that I should also emphasize is that our scrubs (operating room clothes) are embroidered with the logo. The scrubs are robin blue in color. I hope I'm not to late to give you this information! Thanks. JL Secretary CAMTA
#2 Hi East Coast Creative, I note that you are working on some new ideas for logo #15. Your logo is still one of the ones liked by the group; we look forward to seeing the changes/new ideas very soon. Thanks! BM Treasurer/CAMTA
#15 Hi East Coast Creative, My apologies - I entered my requests above under the #2 when in fact I meant to enter them under your number, 15. I have cut and copied below what I had written above. "I note that you are working on some new ideas for logo #15. Your logo is still one of the ones liked by the group; we look forward to seeing the changes/new ideas very soon. I would like to make one more request - when you send your changes, will you leave out the words "Canadian Association of Medical Teams Abroad"? Thanks! BM Treasurer/CAMTA"
#15 Hi East Coast Creative, We haven't seen any of our requests turn up in a new design from you. Will you please try to make the following changes as these are the most current requests? - leave the words "Canadian Association of Medical Teams Abroad" under the letters CAMTA - color "CAMTA" in royal blue...and perhaps in a seperate entry, color the globe blue as well - put "CAMTA" beside the glove/leaf, not under it Hope to hear back from you. Thanks! BM - Treasurer/CAMTA
#115 Thank you for your changes...I have a few more to try... - Make the half globe red again (same as in your first design) - Write Canadian Association of Medical Teams Abroad in the same blue as CAMTA - and for both use more of a royal blue. Thank you! BM
It occurred to me that the tagline emphasizes a "New Tomorrow" and what come to my mind is sun rising (a new dawn). Also the sun is an important symbol in many cultures.
#134 - Please spell out Canadian Association of Medical Teams Abroad below CAMTA instead of the tag line. #15 Are you interested in showing this design with CAMTA in blue instead of grey? Thanks! BM Treasurer/CAMTA
Hi Scott - thanks for all of your changes! Here are two more! #211 - will you please use the font and color from #134 in #211? #15 - will you please keep the leaf/half globe red and color the letters blue? Thanks! BM/CAMTA
