I think this logo has a young/fun feel to it which fits our target age group (15-17 yr olds). However, the focus is too much on camp. Camp is where the program is being held, but the purpose of the camp is Up with People. Make that #1 in the visual heirarchy and camp #2. The concept of camp can be represented even just in the font styling without needing imagery (just one idea). Try playing up the Up with People concept (iinternational focus, singing, dancing) and making the camp reference more subtle.
I like how you've addressed the aspects of working together, the international focus and performing arts. I'd like to see Camp downplayed a little more--the size of font overwhelms Up with People a little bit, and we'd like the focus to be on Up with People. I'd also be interested in seeing some other font options, maybe something in between #23 and #21.
