adjust: on a side note: I noticed you wanted a retro feel, yet, the entry currently in the #1 spot uses a current/modern/standard sans-serif typeface & also has glossy effects/2.0 gradients/effect? It contradicts your brief - are these things you'd prefer to see - glossy stuff & current typefaces?
