The California Organizing and Policy Institute is a non-partisan training and organizing institution that empowers individuals and organizations to move their community clout from 'good access' to 'great influence'. We help our participants to identify issues around which they may effectively organize campaigns that will change the power dynamic at the local, state and federal levels. We assist them in identifying and constructing realistic tactical and strategic objectives for campaigns, conducting research, and in aligning and using their organizational core values in operating campaigns for sustained change in communities and institutions. We are also committed to the collection, analysis and distribution of policy briefs, white papers, and social impact research.
We offer training, education, consultation, research and written/electronic materials aimed at the development of sustainable social impacts. This is offered to other non­profits, social institutions, and individuals and groups.
