Entry #6 is growing on me. I like the plant in the corner, but would be more appropriate if the leaf was more characteristic of an island species. I have added a photograph of an ironwood leaf (photo- ironwood) or Dudleya (photo-Dudley).
I can't seem to find the ironwood photo, does it show up on your end? I do have access to Dudley, though. I will work with Dudley for now, I have found ironwood references but am unsure if the origin is true to CA, some are Persian and the like.
Your designs are different from the others in that they very little or do not at all incorporate the plant theme. However, it still reflects the islands, the font reflects California, and is simple. There is an image labeled "satellite" that also incorporates the coastline of Baja and Mexican islands, which no one has utilized yet.
Thank you, it seems that simplistic modern designs reach out to people better and with a professional positive feel. I bet the California Islands are absolutely beautiful! I live in Pennsylvania, I grew up with the Appalachian trails and Hershey Park :)
I appreciate your working with the Baja elements in entry 18. I still very much like entry 7, and although it is clean and has a "California" feel, it still lacks the plant element. The islands are the main theme, and plants second, and so it can still work. But, can you consider incorporating a plant element to the outside, e.g. entry 7 inset in a leaf?
