Could this design be modified to have "Canadian Ultimate Championships" at the top and then "Calgary August 20-23, 2015" at the bottom?

Also - this design is missing something - maybe slightly more detail/embellishment? It is feeling a bit simple.

I think these designs are impressive, but I would personally like to see a little more "Calgary" in the design... perhaps such as a city line layer. Something along the lines of the attached... but could be simplified...
