Calgary Ultimate Association

Founded in 2004, the CUA coordinates year-round leagues, annual tournaments, events, a growing juniors program, and multiple outreach efforts to promote the sport of Ultimate frisbee within Calgary and surrounding areas. Calgary would like to put forward a bid to host the Canadian Ultimate Championships (CUC) in 2015. CUC is held every August, and teams from across the country travel to the host city to compete for the national title in 5 different divisions: juniors, masters, mixed, open (men's) and women's. Teams compete at this four-day tournament not only to determine the national champion, but also to determine who will represent Canada at the next world championships.
