C Solutions, IncLogo Design Contest

Thank you for the initial entries.

The key to me is from the contest brief's "Our Ideas and Additional Information:" section, where I say, "The whole name of our corporation, 'C Solutions, Inc', is a play on words. It is meant to give the visual image that we can 'see'/'C' solutions for our clients. We have always envisioned this as something like a head, or an eye which is seeing a light bulb or some other image which conveys that we 'see' solutions.".

Basically, we hope to have a graphic image in there which contains 'seeing', and the act of seeing. So, probably ideally, there is one graphic piece which can see another graphic piece. The intent is for the two graphic elements to convey an action, of visualizing solutions.

Also, I like the color blue in it, especially Navy Blue. Perhaps in the text is the best place for that.

I do have a concern on #8. It looks a lot like one of the 'Lens Crafters' emblems, as seen on their site, at: http://www.lenscrafters.com. It needs to evolve away from too close of a resemblance, at the very least. I appreciate it.

If possible, on your designs, if you would include our slogan, "Our Customer's Success is our Greatest Reward", that would be great. Granted, it could look small on the design, but, on larger applications, it could be seen fine.

I'm bumping down #8 as it looks too close to the Lens Crafters as mentioned in a previous post, and, therefore, cannot foresee using it. That said, though, I really do like the design and look in that it has the appearance of 'looking' and 'seeing' and conveying having ideas.

So far I like #20 the best. I like how it has a look with the appearance of 'depth' versus a 'flat' look. And I think the artist did a good job of putting into art the action I want to catch on the logo which is to 'see solutions'. Neat coloring and lighting too.

There's a lot of work in each of these and I appreciate all of them.

So far, #26 is in the lead. There have been a lot of challengers for a second place look in the last day, but, so far, no one has been able to take the lead from that one. Of course, there's still time for anything to happen.

I appreciate everyone's submissions.

It seems like a number of entries lately are using similar styles or elements. Maybe even a mild case of groupthink is developing. Perhaps try something different, but still aiming for my original goal, as outlined below.
