Thank you for your entry! I like the house at the bottom ith the stars coming out of the roof. However, the black is too dark, so I can't even read the tag line. There is an elegance to the black, which I like. However, I want my clients as seeing me as open, friendly & willing to sit down at the kitchen table with them too. Therefore, I don't think the black is going to work as well for that. I do like the star (I'm from Texas, after all), but think the black overshadows it so that it's very difficult to see what you're doing in the design. Reproduced in a small area (ie on a business card), I'm afraid all of your detail in the design would get lost. Perhaps if you changed the color, or even reversed it, it would help keep the design intact. Thanks again!
This works much better by changing the color -- now I can actually see the design! I like #78 in that you can really see the definition of the design. However, I like #79 better in, to me, horizontal logos work a little better than vertical logos, especially to put on business cards so that there is more room for the information I have to include. I'm partial to red, as my corporate color is PMS 200. Could I see #79 in red as opposed to green? Thanks!
Thank you for your entries! I greatly appreciate your time and hard work.
Please do not remove any logos for the next 48 hours as I am going back in and evaluating all submitted designs for a final ranking. i will then submit final comments.
Thank you for your entries. I did like the red star much better than the green -- it seems to "pop" more.
I know it seems the rooftop is overused, but it is immediately identifiable to someone driving by a sign. Just one further thought on the star (which I didn't even catch, my daughter did), is that here is the States, there is a very large national retailer that uses a large star in it's marketing (Macy's). I wasn't sure if you were aware of it, so I thought I'd pass it on.
Thanks again for your submissions! I have ranked all designs submitted to that all designers would get points for the entries.
