I really like the style of #5. You did a great job of representing the “bits” and “scape” concepts that I am looking for. The only concern I have is that I haven’t had good experiences with logos that have more of a “square” bounding box on them because they take up too much space in either direction. I’m not saying that I couldn’t work with it, and I don’t want to deter you from making revisions or new designs that are still “square” shaped, but I just want to make sure you know that I tend to lean more towards logos that are longer from left to right horizontally. Other than that, I REALLY like this a lot, and I encourage you to keep going in the direction you’re going. Maybe some kind of blend or incorporation of the text and the wave would really make this look amazing to me.
Hi, I see you are leaning more to the non-abstract part and rather prefer a monogram aproach, using the old letter type of logos. Here you have an unsold idea, practically one of the proposals i made a couple of years ago for a company called BSynchro (http://www.bsynchro.com) - company that held a contest here which i won. I have made some adjustments to the icon to fit your company profile. Obviously a BS icon.
Haha, that's kind of crazy. A logo for another company with the same primary letters that works just as well here. :-)
i do like #12, but I think I like #5 better. I love everything about the lettering of "bytescape" in #5, but don't really like the lettering at all in #12. I do like the symbol in #12, but I don't really like that it is on a 3D ball shape. I've seen so many of those over the years, and I've never liked balls in logos. I'm curious to see how it would look if you trimmed away some extraneous pieces of the ball shape and make it look less ball like, and if you could somehow make the remaining BS icon a combination of blue and green in some way, to match the half and half look of the text from #5.
