Hey! Thanks for doing #35. I really think it has potential, but there would need to be some changes before I would be willing to choose it. The other version you did for the other company had a cool color change to go along with it, and that really made it stand out. Please don't take offense to this, but as it is right now, I'm sorry to say, it is still too simple for me to put a $350 price tag on it.
How hard would it be to make the bottom portion of the word "scape" (underneath the line) be a planet (preferably Earth, but I know it is vector-based, so I am not expecting anything pixel perfect) inside the letters, and make the line that crosses the letters be a horizon line with the star in the middle like you have it, and then make the blue at the top look more like space, with a few really subtle stars here and there?
Essentially, it would look like you are in a space ship with windows shaped like the word "SCAPE", and when you look out of the windows, you would be looking out onto Earth's horizon. You would also probably need to change the font of "SCAPE" so that it is thicker and there's more that can be shown through the "window" or you wouldn't be able to tell that it is a planet you are looking at.
The more realistic and professional you can make it look, the more I'll like it. I just won't feel right paying $350 for something I feel like I could do myself when so many other designers have already offered amazing logos that I really love.
