These are amazing! Thanks for joining in the fun. ;-)
The only thing I would change would be to use a rounder font, and possibly lowercase the "B" and "S". I'd also be curious to see how #48 looks with a shade of orange instead of grey, and #46 with a shade of green instead of grey, if you have the time.
If you come up with any other creative ideas, please send them my way! I really like this style. It feels very web 2.0. Thanks again!
If its possible and you have the time to do it, I would love to see the icon from #66 + the pixelated blue background from #63 + the bytescape(tm) text from #64, and if you have time, a second version of the same thing but with the pieces breaking off the corner like in #60.
#143 #144 I've created a landscape inside the letter B. Given that you seem to like the company name as a whole and not separated into 'land' and 'scape', I thought having just the B as a mark would be appropriate, taking into consideration that BS as a mark can have a not so pleasant connotation. I can introduce the bytes into the landscape if you like. Just let me know.
Thank you. I really like #143 a lot. I'm to the point now where I want to end the contest as soon as I can because I don't want you guys to think I was jerking you around by extending the contest (at least, that's what someone on the forums told me happens a lot here, and I don't want you to think I'm doing that to you). With the addition of this logo and the logo changes that hype! made, I am going to be making a decision between the two of you, and it definitely isn't an easy one for me.
If you feel up to adding the bytes into it, then please feel free to do so (I do like the way they turn out usually), but I feel that I've already asked too much of you guys. You've done an amazing job. Thank you for all of your submissions. I am going to try to make my choice today.
It's no problem and we all appreciate you keeping in touch with the designers. Many clients don't do that, but we are gratefull when they do. I'll post more variations shortly.
