What We Do
"Business of tech" is a B2B newsletter (and website) curating the top tech news daily from a business point of view. It is based on the model of https://www.businessoffashion.com/ but for technology news. In addition to curation, I am working on building strong opinion & editorial (op/ed) sections to the publication, as value added to this project and major differentiators. My revenue model is quite simple: paid content, sponsorship, ads, but also job board, educational videos and events. Business of tech covers the world, as opposed to only Silicon Valley, or other European tech hubs.

Color Preferences
Any color that to you represents either news (think black for New York Times of blue/red for Time, CNN) or the tech world (blue of Facebook, green of the first data processing of computers...). I also like grey
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I don't know how you can manage that, but I'd like something that's both very news like, such as the simple logo of the New York Times and very innovative, forward looking, like anything that would remind you of a future, technologically driven world. Basically and probably the question to ask is: what would the New York Times logo be in 2100? I'd be happy with something like that ;)

Thanks for the entries so far. A few comments:
- BoT as an acronym is not great. It's a tech term by itself, so it might lead to confusion as to the breadth of the news I cover.
- I'm not crazy, so far, to mix the different fonts --> a traditional font for the term "Business" and a modern one for the term "Tech". Problem with this approach is aesthetically these types of fonts don't usually match. Unless you find the perfect combination?
- Maybe an abstract mark to be added to the logo can work too?

Hello and thanks again for your entries. I made a few comments below some of the logos. You all gave me lots of ideas, but because I won't have much time today, I selected a few logos on logotournament that I liked. Those are the winning entries for Social Dog and Coded. And many of the entries for Launch. Thanks!

(Though I don't necessarily like the colors for these logos mentioned above)

I am back from my trip and re-read my comment above. To be more clear, what I like about the logos:
- Social Dog --> the play with the positive and negative space on a symbol. Could be also use ofpositive/negative on the letters BT or TB or BoT.
- Coded --> Both the really simple symbol and the use of nice simple font
- Launch --> A lot fo the fonts there are amazing
I also found this link with logos I like, esp. #1, 3 and 4. https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/282773
Thanks
