They didn't say why but it's clear now. 6 years ago Makivian commented on #83 Please approve the files if you received design as you want Regards, Joe 6 years ago Makivian commented on #79 Withdrawn Here they are #82 #83 #84 6 years ago Makivian commented on #79 Withdrawn You're welcome ;) 6 years ago Burro4x4 commented on #79 Withdrawn This is fantastic. I didn't even think about the tire on the hood. Good catch. I actually just noticed one thing though. It's small, and an easy fix I think, but it is important. I see that you made the windshield as one whole piece, but series Rovers always have a split windshield. Can you do a last edit with this added to both the one with tread and the one without tread? I'll choose between those two. Also I like it better with the shadow around the tires like this one instead of the splash (a nice touch by the way, just personal preference). Thank you for bearing with me, this is my first time designing a logo. You've submitted a lot, and I appreciate your dedication and patience. 6 years ago Makivian commented on #70 Withdrawn I updated design. please let me know what you think. thanks 6 years ago Burro4x4 commented on #70 Withdrawn After talking to my wife and a couple of people, the tire tread may not be necessary. But I'd like to see it, if it's not too much trouble. 6 years ago Burro4x4 commented on #70 Withdrawn I think this is just about it. If you can add some mud tire tread that would be really great. And I think we would be done at that point. 6 years ago Makivian commented on #53 Withdrawn update design 6 years ago Burro4x4 commented on #53 Withdrawn Ok so I think we're really close here. The other designers have some great submissions, but yours is uncomplicated and iconic. I've done a survey and asked around a bit, and after some feedback I have a few tweaks I'd like to see. 1) I really like the yellow base, but apparently I'm the only one. I think I'd like the final submission to be in black/white. I'm quite open to any colors you'd like to try, especially classic land rover colors (Google search to find those, or choose your own) 2) The middle circle looks a little off center, toward the top. Let's check width and make it even all around. 3) Also regarding the middle circle, I don't want the mountains to touch anything. Need separation between elements. 4) I would like to see some tread on the tires, maybe a BFG mud terrain or similar? See what you can come up with. That's it for now, I'll keep an eye out for the changes. Thanks! 6 years ago Makivian commented on #46 Withdrawn #52 6 years ago Makivian commented on #46 Withdrawn okay 6 years ago Burro4x4 commented on #46 Withdrawn I like where this is going! I would prefer this design with solid lines at the sides of the circle instead of the dots, and I like it with no slogan. Keep up the great work! 6 years ago Makivian commented on #24 Withdrawn Alright ;) 6 years ago Burro4x4 commented on #24 Withdrawn Hey, I see that you made an axle housing. It looks good but I really should have been more descriptive. I'm sorry, I was driving and using voice to text. So if you look at my uploads, there is a blue series rover graphic. In it you can see how the axle is offset to the left of the image, and more of a simple round shape. Can you modify your housing to look a bit closer to that? Thanks! Ben 6 years ago Makivian commented on #24 Withdrawn #43 6 years ago Makivian commented on #24 Withdrawn Thanks for feedback. I'll put axle housing between the wheels on design. Just let me know what the slogan is. Maybe I can put in with other way Cheers, Joe 6 years ago Burro4x4 commented on #24 Withdrawn I really like this. It's been one that sticks out to me. A couple of variations I'd like to see... Can we have an axle housing between the wheels? Maybe a series 2 grille hashed in front... Would love to see some tire read... I'll have a slogan soon enough but I like what you've made. Really appreciate your effort. 6 years ago Burro4x4 commented on #20 Withdrawn I like the tire on the hood, good concept. It looks a little like the car is jumping, can we either put it flat or have something for it to roll over? 6 years ago Makivian commented on #4 Withdrawn Okay i will try it 6 years ago Burro4x4 commented on #4 Withdrawn I like this, of course because it's very similar to the Overland Bound badge I referenced. A couple of things though: I don't want to emulate that badge too closely, maybe we can come up with some variations on the theme. Also, looking closely, the profile of the vehicle seems to be that of a Jeep, which is not the vehicle I work with. I've uploaded a few more visuals of the series Rovers, press look at those for inspiration. Thank you for your submission! 6 years ago
