What We Do
We are a video production company. Our audience is business owners and Marketing Directors who are looking for someone to create and produce videos for their website and social media.
Industry
Color Preferences
Right now the logo has been black and white. And the website has been black and white. It would be nice to have an accent color for the brand that we can incorporate. So this would depend on what icon is created to go along with the logo. Like if it's fire, it would be orange/red etc.

Name of Company: Burn the Boats
Here is the origin of the Burn the Boats story and how it incorporates into our video production company.
Legend has it that in the early 16th century, Cortés arrived in the New World with six hundred men, and, upon arrival, ordered his boats burned. This sent a clear message: There was no turning back; the only way home was through victory. It is that mindset that established Burn the Boats Productions in 2007. When taking on a project, we symbolically burn our boats and conquer all obstacles necessary to successfully complete that project. As a television commercial production, social media, and digital content creation company, we call on a diversified roster of award-winning and industry-recognized writers, directors, editors, ad buyers and producers to complete projects for advertising and media agencies as well as small and large organizations worldwide.
We welcome your creativity and things that we can think of that have to do with the story of the name.
Boat, flames,
We also really like the idea of a torch. As this is empowering.
We just don't want it to be too on the nose with a nautical theme. We are a video production agency not a boat company. We do not want an old Cortez boat type vibe. If a boat is used it should be done in an interesting way with shapes/outline or something abstract and cool.
*Just as a note, we like surf brands that are simple and clean. We like the cool, hip vibe of the surf clothing brands.
