Sure, for black version, please send me your email address, Will send via email. My email is pitusongodesign@gmail.com . Thank You for choosing my design :)
To review - this logo (or same one in black) is the winner with no further changes - just wanted to leave you with an optional assignment for the next day or two for fun. If nothing comes to mind and you do nothing, you still win so do not feel obligated as you've done some awesome work here and I am very happy with it as their are already some great SHTF aspects in this logo. You were the one designer who really got the subtle humor aspect of what is really a bleak situation perfectly so kudos for that. It really is an impossible task trying to do that when you can't get in a clients head plus putting up with several revisions;)
Perfect. Thanks for helping me with the tweaks - even the one's I suggested that didn't work out. So you know, this will be the finished version winner but I won't select the winner for a day or two as I want to leave you with one final optional (hopefully fun) brainstorming idea. That is, doing anything creative with the negative white space to hide some apocalyptic elements i.e. the space between the chair and her dress looks like an upside down mushroom cloud or behind her head and the chair looks like a falling rocket. Tiny hidden inverse details ala these types of logos: https://digitalsynopsis.com/design/50-clever-hidden-meaning-logo-designs/
Nearing the finish line - can you please send one more where:
F - bring cat tail 25% closer to chair
G - extend bottom chair rail so it touches bottom right can
H - fill in Betty's right white eye so she is all one colour but keep her left eyeglass rim as is
I will need a logo file in black but we can continue using this blue until we finish these last couple tweaks. Thanks.
Eyeglasses look better for printing with thicker rim - keep
Can lid looks great here - keep
Cat tail looks great just bring it in say 25% closer to the chair
Still pondering which chair leg version is better - will get back in a minute
You can do all changes in one once I get back on chair leg and we should be at a final version - fantastic work!
Thanks for indulging my bad idea about the glasses but ya was I wrong haha. 98 and 99 especially just made her into a scary ghost or zombie so #93 is what we'll work with here on in.
Prefer this font version - really happy with it. Just some tiny tweaks I'd like to try (using #93 as a template) to see how they work (when you have a moment):
A - make lid on top tin can round instead of oval shaped.
B - remove curve on rocking chair leg (beside cans)
C - try the cat's tail slightly longer.
D - make Betty's left eyeglass rim stick out farther to her left side and make the rim slightly thicker.
E - make Betty's left eye the same (solid white) as her right.
I realize you drew the eyeglasses correctly from a drawing perspective but wondering if changes D or E might make it slightly more visible and easier from a printing perspective.
Good morning. First tweak is the font sizes. Right now it seems the word BETTY is slightly taller than the word BUNKER. I'd like them the same height. Can you send me one version where BETTY is shrunk to the same size as BUNKER currently is, and a second version where BUNKER is increased to the size BETTY is? Thanks.
Don't worry, you can write it now, and if possible, i Will make adjustment now. But if more complex revision, Will work for its first time on the morning
I will chat with you about some tweaks to this logo later but it appears we are about 12-13 hours apart aka it's noon here and midnight there and you are probably sleeping. Cheers.
I just logged back in to say I noticed that cat - ya that's great/funny. Took me about ten looks before I saw it but I like stuff like that - layers if you will. Nice touch.
Might have to do minor size/placement tweaks but nothing to do at the moment. Finalists stage starts in a couple hours and I'll be narrowing it down to a couple designers.
So to rehash - the Betty character is supposed to be a grandmother type who takes the idea of preparing for disaster seriously, but does not take herself seriously.
I've done some hard thinking on this one cause I do like it and I think the mushroom cloud and house/bunker is well drawn in all instances but ultimately it is just a little bit too ominous. However if you could keep the BUNKER and BETTY as is, and replace the middle part with a profile of a grandmother type from the neck up, it just might be perfect. I would suggest starting with a normal profile/silhouette and see how it goes. If that works, we can always add some kind of clothing/accessory element(s) to her to better fit the branding. This logo already hits two key elements - it has text like old rations and can be printed in one color - that's great so don't wanna change that. Just gotta get in the "Betty" notion along with a hint of tongue in cheek/fun take on a serious doomsday/military type prepper. Fine line to walk but we are getting there and if it's done right I can see this type of design winning. Good luck and thanks again for your great work so far.
I like that this looks like a retro rations can and the monocolor works well. I feel like the mushroom cloud is cool but perhaps slighty too busy/serious. I like that the house is offset in white but it's a little small/plain. Not sure if it should be bigger or a different style of house or perhaps something different like a bunker hatch there? This is on the right track but looking for some sort of tweak but again, not being a designer myself, I can only throw out some general ideas but have a hard time visualizing specific design elements in my head. Thanks for the great work so far.
thanks for trying what I suggested but ya, kinda looks like squidward from sponge bob - I blame it on my poor non-designer brain suggestion. Like the stuff in your profile though so your original submission is still in the running.
