Good to know it was for a good reason! #18 I like the concept and layout but when I looked at it again it remionded me of sharks swimming round some small orange prey (nemo maybe). Can you see if it can be developed? #17 I think won't do the job Check out my general comments also
J&R #39 is more interesting. Can you change the font - see my general comments today. Maybe also compress the vortex slightly to make it more useable as an icon on its own. Thanks
J&R - like the new concept (#45 #46 and #50). Couple of points. Can you keep them on a pure white or black background for now. I like #50 in concept but would prefer the icon to look les like a blade. Perhaps you could try the icon idea from #45 with the font layout and colours of #50. They're all in the runing and I'm going to take some time and advice to get really clear about colours over the next 24 hours. I'll comment again then. Thanks for your great efforts
J&R. Shortlisted. Love the movement and dynamism. Can you have a look at the font comments in my general comments and see if you can incorporate them. The current font is very bold, although I recognise that the logo is too and it may get unbalanced. Thanks again
J&R - Right now you are the front runner. I have tried the logo on test business cards and letter heads as well as a ppt (inc the icon as a bullet). It looks good. I would like to see if we can do two things to secure this. 1. Introduce a slightly bolder colour in the icon (either core or arrows) to lift it out and define it a little more. Maybe a subtle gold/orange or something. It gets lost when you use just the icon on a black ppt background 2. Get closer to the font style in entry #4 - we like the oblique finishes at the top of the letters
I assume if you win you can provide with the artwork with the icon separate and the positive and negative images (i.e. on black and on clear/white?). I know we can amend it when we get it but I have some immediate uses for it.
Now you're really cooking!! I'm not going to get a chance to look at these in any detail until this evening, but first glance - I love the gold colour and they're really starting to leap off the page. Thanks
