Thank you for a very detailed brief and comprehensive comments. I am entering quite late as I've been fine tuning a design and I feel it's ready to unveil. Your comment "a sophisticated, clean look to represent human to human connections that enable growth across cultures, and worldviews" really captured my imagination.
My design incorporates circular motifs, with stylized figures enclosed - they are able to connect, interact and join, without forming a too structured shape - more organic as it is in real life. The bridge is formed between each figure and overall a "bridge" of types is formed. The design has an earthy quality which reflects all cultures and peoples.
The design's circular motifs could lend themselves to web and print page designs - containing images in the shapes. It works in one color which is important for all applications - eg faxing or one-color print projects - without weakening its creative idea.
I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Thank you for your entry, and for the amount of thought that you put into the design and it's components. It's true what you say about them being able to connect and join to make a human bridge - and will the intention is there, the overall feel and look doesn't grab my attention in the way I would like it too...I'm not sure exactly why which isn't helpful I realize.
The idea is 100% there, but the look just doesn't feel right. I'm trying hard to find why...but I can't put my finger on it...sorry!
Hello, Thanks for the feedback. I've done some tweaking to the design to make it more cohesive – same concept but it feels a lot tighter and more approachable as a design. With lower case for the main word also adding to the mix.
Thank you! I do like the changes - it does feel more connected and structured with the modifications, and I like the unveiling youth potential slogan, or at least that we have that option in the design.
I think one thing I'm struggling with is the image in the balls - it's a human celebrating, or indicating success I see that..but it looks like a 'yahoo i did it' kind of growth...whereas we are about gentle transformation, the kind of depth of human growth that isn't celebrated in an instant, but rather nurtured through relationships and a journey together.
I've taken a look at a new human form. The earlier shapes were not meant to look too much like celebration - more connecting - but they really do, which isn't what you are after. Let me know if this is more on track. It definitely is a more gentle transformation. It also has a bit more of a bridge feel to it with the vertical body shapes (not that we need it to look like a bridge, but it does reinforce the name).
Funny how you can see things one way and then instantly another.
At first I saw the changes as a new kind of bridge like you said, with people. And then I saw candles with their light rings around them, then I saw angels.. Oh the joy of design and multiple perspectives on things! I'm not sure it still has the right affect of showing human bridging and transformation...
But I'll sit on it for bit. Thanks for your support! Lindsay
With colors I've aimed to create a palette that is positive and uplifting. The tag line is positioned above the name in a bridge-like arc which reflects the 'growth' of the human figures.
